That CatNap death was just sad... after he worshipped the prototype for some reason, he gets killed by its "savior" while praying for help, after he promptly arrived looking like he wanted to give him a second chance, while he only revealed his purpose: becoming bigger and stronger, by maybe creating an amalgamation. But that kissy scene... she maybe revealed her mental instability by becoming mad crazy, or she was taken by the prototype who brainwashed her. Honestly, this work of art of a chapter gave me more questions than answers 😅
One thing I didn't like about this chapter was that they didn't give Catnap much importance as I expected. At least mommy long legs had the importance we expexted.
I think Catnap was willing to accept his place as part of the prototype. The way he held his arms out looked like a “I am ready my lord” kind of pose.
Catnap wasn't Betrayed.
He accepted his fate.

I see people talking about kissy or the catnap ending thing, but the fact that dogday *LITERALLY HAD THOSE CRITTER THINGS CRAWL INTO HIS BODY AND TAKE CONTROL OVER HIM* was actually disturbing, props to mob games.
Not only control, but ate his organs as well.
I think CatNap fed those mini critters small DogDay pieces and put a belt on his belly to not make the blood drip and the vital organs fall so that he could live and suffer at the same time. That's just so gore

Catnap is just down right terrifying not what he does to his victims but how smart he is to understand religion and worship the prototype like a god. Monsters that are smart enough to understand things what a normal animal wouldn’t is just scary to me.
Also R.I.P to Kissy she died a hero 😔 🌹

Is it just me finding it extremely weird that Ollie is a kid ALIVE in the factory? We all know that the factory closed in 1995 and the current events takes place in 2005, if we assumed that this kid was 8 years old when the factory closed then he would be 18 in the current events and it just doesn't make any sense, what i'm trying to say is that maybe Ollie is actually the protoype roleplaying as a kid cuz Ollie knows too much about the factory and we all knew from VHS 11 that the prototype can speak with different voices and tunes. What do you think?

When Huggy Wuggy came out of the TV, that reminded me of the woman with back hair coming out of the TV in The Ring.
When i turn my graphics clearer at 57:12. It turns out the prototype captured all of the monsters. Mommy long legs, pug a piller, huggy wuggy, even one of the smiling critters.
Compared to chapter 1 and 2 this is scarier than both of them combined

By a landslide, not even just from the jumpscares and chases and stuff, but from the atmosphere and the storytelling. What happened to DogDay was by far the most horrifying thing I've seen in the chapter and possibly in the whole game.

And Chapter 2 was scarier than Chapter 1. This goes to show you that this horror game is really getting scarier as we continue on. Though, part of me wants to think this chapter is the peaking point of the game's horror. (Maybe except for whenever we finally meet the Prototype)

Why is everybody talking about Kissy Missy's death, Dog Day's death, Cat Nap's death, but not about the VHS tape of 'The Hour Of Joy'?
I understand that all the deaths were pretty sad and creepy, but… The Hour Of Joy VHS was terrifying.

I'm guessing either that or she just got taken over and is not our friend anymore. After all, she's had a monster model for a while.
honestly this part of the game actually did manage to exceed my expectations. I came into this part of the game expecting it to be the same boring, not scary mascot horror crap from the first 2. But it did actually manage to surprise me in some ways (i also should mention i only watched the game on youtube because i am not paying $20 for a game that is only 3 hours long and because i don't support MOB games for their shady actions). This actually managed to improve in a few notable ways. For some examples, the puzzles and gameplay are a lot more creative than the previous 2 games. It also seems that the devs did put a bit more of a emphasis on horror with factors like the inclusion of phycological horror elements (most notably that 1 PT inspired section) and the fact that they actually tried to make the character designs somewhat scary. Again it is a mascot horror game and the devs are very aware that the primary demographic for their games are children so it isn't so scary to the point kids wont like it. But it was still scary enough to the point i actually found myself feeling tense at times while watching it. My downsides for the game come from factors like the writing of the games story. From the beginning of the game the objective is the cliche plot of almost every modern mascot horror game of you being an ex employee of a company and you come back to your old workplace to find out something. But at the beginning of part 2 it just shifts to you having to escape when you haven't even found out what happened to the people who worked there defeating the whole purpose of why you came back. The plot of you having to find the missing employees is still mentioned in the school section in part 3 which just left me confused about what the goal is. Its as if the writers didn't know what they wanted to do so they just included both. Another thing is some of the voice acting i found annoying. Im not saying the voice acting is bad because for the most part its really good. I'm mainly talking about the voice acting of the character ollie. I just found their voice acting so annoying and cringe worthy. Another thing is the continuation of plagiarizing the fellow mascot horror game titled "Bendy and The Ink Machine" with the character of Catnap. Catnap is what is described as a decuple of the hand thing later to get killed by it (I forget what its name is and i dont give a shit to look it up but its the thing that looks like the hand from the movie "Coraline"). Something that sounds very similar to the motives of that one guy with the mask from bendy (i also forget what his name is). But in conclusion, This part of the game did manage to surprise me by exceeding my expectations. It still wasn't great but it wasn't as bad as i expected. 7/10 game.

@aceash5.065 no, catnap thought that the prototype would save him, you can see the prototype reached out as if he wanted to save catnap for the second time, but it turned out that the prototype just wanted to eliminate him , he felt that catnap was no longer useful, the prototype knows that we as players are very smart and knows how to kill those monsters, so he uses us to make catnap dying. the protype is way too smart fr 🗿

1:23:16 I Never Seen CatNap's Voice!
So what exactly was up with CatNap’s “final form”? Why does he turns back to normal during his jumpscare and death scene? Was it even real? It was never said that the red smoke could cause hallucinations. And how did he even change form in the first place? I know a bunch of people said that he could size, but even if when the ARG note said “contort” is meant “shrink”, it only said that it could “contort to a third of its normal size”, and I doubt they purposely designed that thing to be its “normal size.”
Edit: Okay it probably a hallucination. I just noticed that his medallion is a necklace like in the cartoon instead of a zipper it normally is. The zipper is also fully gone. Though again, it’s strange to me that we would be able to inhale the smoke without falling asleep.
A vhs at the start said that the red smoke makes you see hallucinations

Да, там не было по большец части кетнапа, и он ща нами не охотился как все думали. Но мне нравится подход тогт что кетнап умный из монстров и не будет бегать за гг, а делать свои дела и немного мешать гг и пугать его
А послелняя битва тут хоть наконец-то попытка кетнапа прймать и остановить гг
И я рад что остальные монстры получились крутыми, те же плюшевые улыбашки или же офигеть страшный догдей, это показывает то что разрабы не бояться показать всю крипоту фабрики попи плейм тайм
И я понял то что это как айсберг, чем ниже мы спускаемся чем страшнее и больше всего мы узнаем
Ведь по сути 1 глава это была ещё вершина айсберга

This chapter was actually more sad then scary. I was reading through the comments and people are mentioning Ollie might still be 'trapped' in the facility. The ending with CatNap and Missy were horrible. And the critters crawling into DogDay.. they don't deserve that..well, the good ones don't. I do have one question; why was CatNap bleeding when the Prototype did the thing at the end? Were there still some parts of a child or a human in them?
Yes, all the toys have parts of human inside of them. Theodore Grambell was turned into Catnap by the scientists. Even the smaller toys have organs in them which is why a lot of them have blood around them.
