Did you notice her behavior. The alarms like a self destruct sequence stunned her, and she acted in such a way that it surfaced a very traumatic memory or something, that she was supressing. And that's why she shook her head to regain her focus of the task at hand., supressing the memory that had surfaced...
She faced a self destruct sequence twice in CVX and twice in RE2, and she NEVER acted like this. Why is she only acting like this here in this movie, and not in CVX, where she already survived a boihazard 3 months prior in Raccoon City?
Because she is not Claire or jill

That is Claire Redfield. Jill is not in this movie.
So... why do you think Claire reacted in a way where she had to shake off a traumatic supressed memory that surfaced in her mind, when she heard that siren, which was similar to a self destruct sequence siren?

@@TheBengalDragonossibly repressed memories of what happened During those alarms. Like lickers Mr.X sherry's dad and such. Probably sick of seeing history repeat itself again and again
@@mjpraetorian4386 Good guess, but I'm afraid that's not it. Notice in CVX, she never reacts to these types of alarms this way. and she went through Racoon City 3 months prior to CVX, but she went through this SEVEN YEARS after CVX
She has no trouble killing zombies left and right in this movie, but it's something that SPECIFICALLY happened in CVX that DID NOT HAPPEN in Raccoon City, that elicited such a reaction, that she had to shake off whatever surfaced in her head, just to think straight.
Here's a hint. When the Senator begs Claire for help at the very beginning of this movie, she also shows a similar reaction, where something seemingly simple, struck such a sensitive nerve, that it scrambled her thinking.
It took a while for me to figure this out, and you must know the story of Resident Evil Survivor 2 (canonical BTW) and go through "Monologue of Claire" (preferably the Japanese version) to understand this.
But after I figured out what it is, I just said... "how does this poor girl sleep at night?"
Once you figure out what this is, you'll also figure out why her reaction at about 0:55 is also a very depressing reference to CVX.
What do you think it is? I REALLY look forward to your response.

I was just thinking about another possible answer. Could be due to her having to fight pain in her leg ( she was limping bad ) and the fact she's so focused on trying to do what she needs to do in the room that the alarm just startle her and took a minute to process what was happening. Hell she's in a room all by her self so she's possibly nervous about anything sneaking up behind her. She's in a hostile environment so she has to be alert.
No proof or anything, just a thought. I'd be the same when a alarm is SCREAMING out of nowhere.
Why was Claire limping?
She got pounded by Leon moments before when he decided to continue the Redfield bloodline.

There was an explosion in facility the glass window had wounded her ankle
In the movie, something like a large rod or something big fell on her leg, as a result of an explosion. I don't think it was glass impailing her leg, because I don't remember seeing any blood aroungdher leg or foot. Notice, the next morning (end of the movie) she's perfectly fine, so temporary injury.

Because Chris Miller was actually a scientist for the umbrella but when he found out that umbrella killed his family the only family that he ever had was his sister Angela but when he injected himself with the g virus he wanted to get revenge on umbrella on what they did in raccoon City there were the ones who released the deadly t virus he wanted to get even with them by killing them the same way that they killed his family but the only one that did not follow in the scientists footsteps was the sister Angela she became the police
