- This is a custom mix I made using stems that play during the Strider Battle. It uses many stems that have not yet been combined into a single song on TH-cam. I hope you enjoy it.

i think the length was fine. its just you only fight.
nah, i thought it was really good given the amount of setpieces in it, and it was extremely gratifying to take down
problem is that given the emphasis on accessibility with HL:A, there's only so much you can do with a strider fight, but i still really loved every minute of it
interesting that you can use dynamic music to produce an arrangement that hasn't been heard before. I always loved the two strider tracks, but thought they were too short. this is perfect
The fight was maybe one of the most insane things I've ever experienced in a video game. I'm just glad it knew when to end and didnt outstay its welcome
Hey fellas you can stop listening to this version now, because I just realised that my braindead, stupid ass forgot to include the last part that plays when you're shooting at the Strider with the cannon, which is one of the best parts.
Just find this now, it’s a good mix. “Combining” Strider Battle and Combine Garage into one would be ideal workout music, if ya ask me.

I wish you fought more honestly, not with the cannon though, it was too hard to aim it consistently before it killed you.
I don't want to imagine it. I'm not very tall and almost everyone looked huge. The strider tho.

Remember, Alyx is amazed in HL2 how Gordan is able to take down striders and gunships. I think Valve kept this in mind by making the strider a one-off boss fight.
