You'll need to spray twice to cover the 4,000 square feet. Each gallon cover 1,000 square feet. RGS apply at 3oz per gallon, and the rest can be at 6-9oz per gallon.
Depending on soil temperatures where you're located, it would be wasteful. If you're in the south US, go for it, but up north, there is little activity in the soil.

With regards to watering in. After applying with a hand sprayer can this be watered in a day or two after applying? The forecast changed and rain isn't expected now for another two days. Thanks!
20:1(20 ounces of water for every ounce of product). If you have a 3,000 square foot lawn, you would need 9 ounces of each product from the bio-stim pack(3 oz per 1k sq. ft.). So that means for every 3 oz. of product, you need 60 ounces of water, to cover 3k sq. ft. So that would make a total of 69 oz of finished solution, or just over half a gallon. Besides causing problems of coagulation does it cause any other problems with the products effectiveness like causing denaturing of the products molecules.
Is the Chapin battery backpack sprayer a good option for the bio pack and Greene Punch? I used the Ortho sprayer once, and let's just say, I don't have any interest in dragging a hose anymore.
Whatever works for you, that'w what you should I use! Just need to make sure you have a good dilution rate, 7:1 at the minimum for most products, 20:1 for the 18-0-1 GreenePunch. More water is better for our products so it can get down to the soil where it needs to be! - Castleberry

You can absolutely spray all of those down at the same time. Best to do low doses of each once a month. Do 3 ounces of RGS, Air8, and Humic12 per 1,000 square feet every 4 weeks, and do about 6 ounces of D-Thatch per 1,000 square feet every 3 to 4 weeks. That way you can help the turf train itself to cycle through the nutrients better. Great question. Thanks for watching and commenting. Keep on keeping on. - Castleberry

Can too much humic acid be applied? If I put down a granular product that is 30% humic and 40% biochar, can I continue on with the n ext biostimulant 4 pack?

When you ask "how much water do I add" do you mean in the Ortho or backpack sprayer? If you use the Ortho Dial n Spray, after putting in the product, fill it the rest of the way with water. If you're using a backpack sprayer, everything is per gallon. So 6 oz per gallon, 9 oz per gallon. You will still want to water afterwords.
Great question. Surge of growth and when you mow, you might be bailing hay. Better to spread it out and spoon feed it so the turf can cycle through the nutrients you are giving it. - Castleberry
Used BioStim pack last season with excellent results!! Yard is currently under 8" of snow. Looking forward to spring. Is there a minimum soil temperature the yard should reach before applying? 55 degrees?
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment/question. About the same time you start to apply your Pre-Emergent is a good time to start running the bio-stim products. That being said, Humic12 is a product you can run all year long, so long as your ground is not frozen or buried by snow! Which yours is...hang in there! Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions. Happy to help.
I've always mixed all 4 together and have not had any issues with clogging. Is there any reason to not mix them besides clogging? I use a backpack sprayer, fill it half way with water, then use concentrates, then fill with water. Thanks!
So long as you are putting the concentrates into a tank that has water first, you should be ok. We still like to caution people from even doing that at the risk of not having enough water in the tank to make sure everything gets along. Thanks for watching and dropping a comment. - Castleberry
How much did you dilute each concentrate? Assume I had a 4gallon backpack sprayer, I wanted to cover 2000 sq ft and thrown down air8 and rgs only. (6oz of each product)
Newbie here. Just ordered Bio Stimulant Pack. Live in central Florida under black rules. Just bought this house with a couple-month-old St Augustine sod. Am I doing the right thing by applying these products now to get the LCN program going?
He's modified it to use a TeeJet spray nozzle, which has a flat-fan nozzle spray, and it's probably due to the orientation of the spray pattern out of the tip. The tip that comes on the sprayer stock has a pattern that runs parallel to the axles, so that's why it's designed to be sprayed either on the left, or the right of the tank. If you had it out front, you'd just be spraying the tank, and not very much in front of you. Word of caution on that particular sprayer, there's a lot of QC problems that Chapin supports with great customer service, but I've had my unit fail on me 3x with a full tank of liquid to spray.
I have enjoyed it so far! The boom arm, when it is pointed directly out front, has the tendency to bounce around. A pro customer of ours has the same sprayer and he told me about the bungie cord idea. Keeps it nice and ridged. I will most likely do a video on it here soon. Stay tuned! It is on Amazon if you want to look at it some more... amzn.to/2Y6tQW7 - Castleberry
Those two should be just fine! When mixing concentrates, put in half the amount of water first, then add concentrates and top off with water! Should be good to go! Thanks for watching. - Castleberry
Absolutely! That is what I did for this video. RGS and Air8 first, then Humic12 and 0-0-2 MicroGreene. When you go to spray Humic12 and 0-0-2 MicroGreene, add water first, then Humic12, followed by 0-0-2 MicroGreene, topped off with more water. Great question. Hey I have currently been using bio stimulate pack for about 5 months in conjunction with a Lesco seed and fertilizer program for the growing months. Once we go into the summer months I do plan to switch to milorginite once a month, de-thatch product, and bio stimulate pack. That way you can help the turf train itself to cycle through the nutrients better. Great question. Thanks for watching and commenting. Keep on keeping on. - Castleberry
N-Ext DIY Lawn should I keep doing all at the same time every 4 weeks or should I do one product a week on a 4 week rotation?
If I have compacted clay should I use the Bio Stim pack or should I follow the compaction cure?
What is the update on the compaction cure yard?
I will have one soon! Still looks like garbage back there with all the weeds and bare spots but it is improving! Thanks for watching. - Castleberry
You may have covered this in a video, but in Iowa here we are above freezing for lows, can I put a application of stimulant pack down now?
Do any of the bio- stem products stain concrete? I use the Ortho sprayer
What if you add water to your hose-in sprayer before adding? Would that work ... Maybe???
no it does not work I tried that last year.
David488013 You have the Ortho dual and spray?
@@seanmclaughlin7415 I have the Chaplin sprayer and a 25 gallon what was a tow behind that I converted to go on my 2 inch hitch on my zero turn mower much fast to put it down then the Chaplin sprayer.
David488013 great idea 👍
I really do think it is hit or miss with these hose end sprayers sadly. They do work...when they work! I have heard of folks having success with adding water then concentrate and not having issues. - Castleberry
Can these products help with lawn rust?
Can too much humic acid be applied? If I put down a granular product that is 30% humic and 40% biochar, can I continue on with the n ext biostimulant 4 pack?
omg i don't know where to began i bought the bio package. how much water do i add? for one im in florida and i wake up to 85 degr weather. my total yard is 5300sqft i only want to test it on the front yard then later the back. is it to hot to apply this now PLEASE HELP LOL
What would the lawn look like using too much of each? I mean, if someone use once a week the max rate, for example.
This question might be silly but

How should I treat my tifway 419 Bermuda grass lawn monthly. Any recommendations?
I've always mixed all 4 together and have not had any issues with clogging. Is there any reason to not mix them besides clogging? I use a backpack sprayer, fill it half way with water, then use concentrates, then fill with water. Thanks!
So long as you are putting the concentrates into a tank that has water first, you should be ok. We still like to caution people from even doing that at the risk of not having enough water in the tank to make sure everything gets along. Thanks for watching and dropping a comment. - Castleberry
Looks like the juju mix is working. 👍🏾 Only time will tell.
Slowly but surely! Spring has been slow around here! - Castleberry
Lookin good! Spray 'er down!
Thanks! For sure getting there. It's been a slow spring. Thanks for watching. - Castleberry
How much did you dilute each concentrate? Assume I had a 4gallon backpack sprayer, I wanted to cover 2000 sq ft and thrown down air8 and rgs only. (6oz of each product)
Nice video!
Thank you very much sir! Hope all is well. Keep on Keeping on! - Castleberry
Hey it's almost summer time here in Michigan is it ok if I applied all four at the same time now or is it to late?
Will these stain my concrete if over-spraying occurs?
Yes. A good trick is to spray water on concrete surfaces prior to applying fertilizer. Most things with iron will stain.
Newbie here. Just ordered Bio Stimulant Pack. Live in central Florida under black rules. Just bought this house with a couple-month-old St Augustine sod. Am I doing the right thing by applying these products now to get the LCN program going?
Absolutely should start now. Simply just do 3 ounces per 1,000 square feet once a month. - Castleberry
Really thinking about buying the type of sprayer you have...just wondering why your using bungie cords with the boom straight forward? Joe

Is it ok to run rgs and air8 one week then the other 2 the following week or dose it need to be all done in the same day?
Doesnt have to be the same day. Just easier to keep track of it doing it all on the same day. - Castleberry
For cool season grass (TTTF), should I skip the monthly applications for July and August?
The biostim pack is not pushing growth, so I think you're okay (at least, it's what I do). Definitely back off on the nitrogen though.
wait. but you can mix RGS and Humic12 in a backpack sprayer without clogging correct?
Those two should be just fine! When mixing concentrates, put in half the amount of water first, then add concentrates and top off with water! Should be good to go! Thanks for watching. - Castleberry
Is there a heavier application rate I could do every month of all 4? Like maybe 6oz of each instead of 3? Will I hurt anything?
Can i use the 4 produts on one day. ? Rgs and air8 the micro greene and humic12 ?
Thanks for all your help trying products here in south texas 101• degrees hahaha
This products looks and read pretty good, although for a business applying it once a month might not work due to invoicing to clients that often, can this be apply every 6 weeks? and what rate per 1000 Sq Ft that will be?
Can I apply all 4 on the same day?
where can I get the unicorn from?
Trouble spots (thin brown areas) with bermuda you hit with RGS and Humic12 right?
Go at it with just Humic12! 6 oz per gallon of water and paint it black! - Castleberry
Allright Paul, i just ordered and cant wait to hit my lawn with the "four-nado" bio stim pack! Im tempted to increase the dosage, at least for the first application. Your blessing/advice would do wonders ;)
Do you know why the RGS doesn't have fulvic acid anymore?
it does still have it - they just don't list it out separately anymore. During the process of extraction both humic and fulvic are released.
@@TheLawnCareNut so no change to the formulation? Good to know.
Adam Kirby no change in formulation. Fulvic is becoming increasingly hard to get passed through dept of agricultures in many states. I swear there’s more regulation on natural substances than chemicals.

can this be done during the summer months like now?
Absolutely! - Castleberry
Hey
I have currently been using bio stimulate pack for about 5 months in conjunction with a Lesco seed and fertilizer program for the growing months. Once we go into the summer months I do plan to switch to milorginite once a month, de-thatch product, and bio stimulate pack. Questions is it safe to use the bio stimulate pack like this all year long with other fertilization programs? Is anything that I explain that I am doing is wrong? Thank you in advance for your feedback. @Paul
Afternoon Paul!
In SE Michigan, we have transitioned from rain rain rain to full blown summer hear (95, 95, 94, 92 for these next 4 days). Front lawn being fine fescue is already hurting with watering every three days (1" at a time).
Not wanting to push growth, any suggestions as to what I should be putting down from the Bio-Stim pack right now that will reep the most benefits given the above state of the lawn?
I feel your pain. It is hot here in good ole GA as well! What have you been putting down up till now? - Castleberry
@@NExtDIYLawn Standard 3oz/1000 of all 4 products once a month. Other than being a tint greener than surroundings lawns, I'm virtually in the same boat as the rest of the neighborhood. If there's a cocktail you'd suggest for these stressful weeks michigan summers get before we dip into the start of fall, Id love to hear it!
Do you have anything else besides the Bio-Stimulant pack?
@@NExtDIYLawn Threw down a generic 12-8-10 fert app at the start of the season and some 0-0-40 to resolve a potassium insufficiency from a soil test result, but nothing but that and 1 milo app over memorial day weekend.
Stick to 3 oz per 1k over RGS, Air8 and Humic12 but do 12 ounces per 1k of 0-0-2 MicroGreene. Give it a nice big dose of minors to help it get through the heat.
Can these stain sidewalks?
Yes they can. A trick to try out is spray your sidewalks with water before the application. Then if you happen to get some on the sidewalk, it's much easier to clean off.
Can I mix all 4 if I'm using 1.5 gal water per k
I do it all the time and never have a problem. Not with the fert though.
@@JM-yx1lm thanks
If you are mixing in a tank that has water first, you could. I would rather you do RGS and Air8, then Humic 12 and 002 MicroGreene. Lessen the chance of product being to thick to spray out. - Castleberry
Are these safe for spraying around fruit trees?
Thank you for watching. You definitely can! Our 4-0-2 FloraGreene is great for fruit trees.
