Absolutely love the new Suzuki jimmy how it keeps up with all the big off roaders! Did a day off roading with my dad in his and it kept up with the likes of defenders and discoveries all day long it’s like a little mountain 🏔 goat 🐐 🚙

Stunning moment: when your dad drove up that hill first go while Toyota took the chicken track ( safe option better than rolling over). Your dad was the best driver of the day.
Funny moment: When Toyota was pushing Suzuki with a flexible rope!!

First place for the Jimny and I have to give your dad's MUX second place. It did really well in the mud considering the lack of lockers. The Landcruiser just seems so big and heavy, while the Suzuki looks more like a quad bike haha. Awesome content as always! I'm watching your videos in random order

Love seeing the jimny pulling other vehicles out! I've got an older model and they are such great little weapons!! I don't have a winch yet so haven't done any crazy tracks. Just got an xrox bar so the winch is next, and maybe some lockers!

I drive a twin locked GU Patrol - the Mates & I think the Jimny is a great vehicle & can do some amazing Tracks.
Had a Mate end up in 2WD in his one year (Hub fell off from loose bolts :o) ) in the Vic High Country & he did great.
Another choice vid m8 , you definitely need to take the nav next time to explore that area 👍🍻

Wonder if your dad will trade that mux in for a jimny, that thing is a weapon. It even left the v8 cruiser for dead. Shame they dont make a diesel verson of the jimny. What a great video. Amazes me how u can shit ur pants on a track but ur kid is just reading or on the laptop not a care in the world 😂

Crazy how the Suzuk’ impress me...
Jimmy was brilliant, 30’s with small diff pumpkins not dragging. Would be good to see how the Auto would compare in same set up or low gear ratio on manual particularly 1st and 2nd low. Great video.

Sounds like the 76 needs new injectors the engine is noisy as.

The Jimny really just needs a lower geared Low Range, and/or a bit more torque down low.
The weight that theyve added doesnt help non. The front metal bumper is unessersary.

long rand fuel tank is a must my mates waiting for them to release it looks like it'll be an 80L tank so double the standard still not bad though better then 40

Iv snapped multiple. They replaced under warranty each time but i got sick of it and just bought maxtrax
Josh Holmes..AHA ! I thought I caught a glimpse of one breaking, so I wasn't imagining it. The general consensus seems to be, just go straight for the Maxtrax and save yourself some dramas.
It was already half broken and I finished it off haha
@@TylerThompson90 hit up tred for warranty replacement. They wer very good when i broke mine. Just wanted me to cut them up n send pictures and they sent me new ones.
I only got maxtrax cause i got over breaking them nearly everytime they got used.

Yep!
Nothing to do with how much power you have at all. Both the Jomny AND the 79 series got stuck going up the hill. Why? Because the diff bottomed out on top of the ruts. Both the J8mny and Isuzu made it by straddling the ruts. Alas the 79 with all its V8 power couldnt get up the hill. 79 only did better in some of the hill climbs because it was an auto and managed to maintain momentum. Manuals are garbage for 4 WD imo.
Let´s face it. Your kid prefer a good book to read than a 4x4 to ride.
The Jimny will be worth 10 bucks when you're finished with it. I could trade in a pack of chips for it. It does well though!
