Wonderful video. Song captures the essence of the character Lucas Bouchard. Now he needs to find his true love - not Jeanette and definitely not Elizabeth. She was not the ideal match for him. She showed her true colours in Season 10.

Very well done. S11 was so sad. I'm hoping Lucas will find his smile again in S12. At this point I really think Elizabeth is worse than Jeanette. She's all smiling and acting like what she did to Lucas meant nothing to her. I pray Lucas gets a better love story soon.
Excellent video. It really sums up Lucas. Kinda chokes you up a bit. He wasn’t right for Elizabeth because he’s made for a bigger life than her simple one in Hope Valley. I hope they find him a good love interest, but as others have said..not Jeannette. But a really good video. 👍👍
Lucas was not right for Elizabeth, but he is evolving and learning how to be the best version of himself he can be. Lucas's character does not seem to have gotten all the emotional support he needed as a child. Despite his outwardly, very, put-together persona, he is not very emotionally confident. I look forward to watching him find someone who can help him be the best Lucas Bouchard, he can be. There are many good stories behind those beautiful, dark eyes.
Obviously, Elizabeth is a shallow, juvenile woman that only used Lucas for what she could get from him. He needs a better woman. Hope for a better love story for him.

I don't know why they are bringing Melissa Gilbert in. Her and Michael Landon Jr. used to date, I know that. But, she hasn't done much lately. I'm not sure how many people remember her, but we'll see. I like Chris McNally because he reminds me of my deceased husband. My husband had the dark, wavy, unruly hair and a dark beard. He also love me like Lucas. He wasn't as perfect as Lucas, but he was a good man that loved me deeply. I guess I lived vicariously through Lucas and Elizabeth after losing my husband. Because of this I'll probably always watch Chris, but I got tired of the 1500 ways to do the same plot so I don't watch as much Hallmark that I used to.

Erin also said that we would see a side of Elizabeth we have never seen before. As if the mean, selfish, fickle, juvenile side of her wasn't enough. And we know Melissa Gilbert will be in the show for 2 episodes. Actors, writers, and producers seem to want to do what they call decompose their characters. They like to put them in bad situations to see how they will handle it. I guess that's what they did with Lucas last season. Frankly, I don't like that. Some of these characters get decomposed so much if they were real people they would be in an insane asylum. I think Chris likes this. I don't trust this show runner to do anything good for Lucas fans. WCTH was a wholesome fun show but it got meaner when this new show runner showed up. I don't think it will change as long as she's there. I really don't want Lucas back with Elizabeth. She showed a side of herself that I don't like. We'll see what happens in Season 12. If things to get better it might be the end for me also.
This is a good video. I never thought Lucas was right for Elizabeth, but I always was interested in this mysterious saloon owner turned governor. The Lucas character had a lot of growing pains learning his job as governor in S11. Plus dealing with his past Jeanette. I think Lucas will turn out to be a good governor. I think Lucas has the personality of a politician. Always a smooth talking man like a politician. I believe that Lindsay Sturman will give Lucas a new love interest in S12 too! I just hope it's not Jeanette. She needs to stay in prison for her crimes. Let all of Lucas past be his past whether it's Jeanette or Elizabeth or whatever else was in his past. Hopefully someone new for a love interest for Lucas.
There's a strong possibility that season 11 was a dream by Elizabeth when she was sitting by Lucas's bedside or by Lucas when he's in the coma. Cast comments about Dallas, Kavan saying Rosemary could have written it, Erin and Pascale posting dream girl pictures, Allie Devreau saying they had room to play with the stories and all the inconsistencies could definitely point to it. S12 should be pretty interesting

JT rushed Nathan into those casual dating with Mei and Faith in S9 when he was trying to move on because Elizabeth chose Lucas. That never worked out though because Nathan realized he was still in love with Elizabeth. So, he quit dating and just focused on raising Allie and his career as a mountie. That was until Nathan saw Elizabeth struggling with her decisions in S10. So, he confronted her asking Elizabeth, "What do you want?" Nathan was fighting for love one last time because he still loved Elizabeth. Then shortly afterwards Elizabeth admitted to Rosemary that Lucas was a safe and comfortable love. She was trying to protect herself from getting hurt again. Then she broke up with Lucas in S10. Now she is in a relationship with Nathan by the end of S11.
