    Hello, I forgot to mention my favourite of the session... it's probably the last photograph I show in my ending speech - the one with the train on the left and the forest on the right :)
    Also: I'm so happy that the channel has landed another sponsor!🤗 So if you need music for your videos and want to get two extra months for free plus you want to support me, you can do so by using my link: www.bit.ly/36wPfkA
    Thank you and see you next week! :)

    I can understand both the dystopian and calm vibes from your work. I think they can go hand in hand. Sometimes dystopia is calm like the episode of The Twilight Zone where the guy finally has some peace and quiet to read but only because the world has somewhat've ended

      Ahh interesting perspective... I can't really relate to that guy though hahah :,D

    Your car one is my favourite. The house on the hill adds a homely, intimate feel from the warm light in the window, but also because it's positioned to be overlooking the car, almost safekeeping it in a sense. I'm peeking into the personal lives of the residing neighbours and I feel a sense of community despite the expansiveness of the field. Also, I must say your voice is ASMR.

      Ahh cool, glad you like it. I see, yes the hight of the house really adds something to the whole scene - I like your breakdown🤗
      Hahah I'll take that as a compliment😍

    as i moved to denmark, i've been waiting for like 7 months to get sunny and warm outside. all i needed was this video, now i want my shitty cold weather back. loved the atmosphere in these shots, good job

    I like your first shot of the train stop. I think a person would have been a good addition but I like you comment that the station is the subject.

    So interesting about the interpretation and feeling of your photos. I've had exactly the same, I feel I have capture calmness and others say they feel unease, almost like something bad is about to happen or has happened in them.

    I’m so envious of the fog and the drive to be out shooting in the cold. Great work!

    Really liked the first photo of the train, but all of them looked great! I think trains as a subject fit your style really well too.

    It's funny how you mentioned the train pictures in the fog made you think of Spirited Away, I was thinking the same! I like the almost otherworldly atmosphere created by the fog while the train brings a more "familiar" feeling.

    Hi! Just discovered your channel and its amazing! The combination of your POV, comments and the result is on point. Regarding the dystopian style commentary its probably because of how those situations are associated with loneliness. There is this videogame called Death Stranding that explore precisely this time of landscape with nature and a vague of human ruins and walking alone.

    At 17:19 you say that the photo doesn't work as well as others because there is an imbalance, but I think it still works really well (and imo even better) because of that: for me the right side is a calm negative space and the left side is "full of action" thanks to the train and forest :)

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahhh I see, thanks for sharing this perspective. I get what you mean with the negative space. Negative space is a tricky one for me, at times it works wonderfully, but here it doesn't feel quite right somehow :)

    Your photos really capture my imagination, Teo! May I ask which lens you use, and which settings the photos were taken? I would love to attempt to emulate your style and philosophy.

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ohh cool, thank you!🤗🙇🏻‍♂️
      This was with a 35mm f/2.8 lens from a brand called Cosina I believe🤔
      I don't know anymore what the settings were... I just let my light meter calculate them and then usually slightly over expose👀

    • @teocrawford

    What time was this filmed? I live in a Nordic country as well (Estonia) but don't have a lot fog here.

    • @teocrawford
      @teocrawford  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Early morning, before sunrise... as soon as the sun rises the fog vanishes. Ahh maybe it's just your area?🤔 Or maybe it's too cold? I think for fog it's best to stay above 2°C, not speaking scientifically though... just my experience here in Austria🤷🏻‍♂️
