this is why i love Chinese bromance dramas! boys chemistries are always top notch, but they're not bl ..., still they're bromance dramas. and no unnecessary thing, even without a single kiss they show their all feeling from their single glance. even without a single touch characters express, show everything abt their feelings from eye conversation, facial expression, body language and hidden words conversations. censorship can't do anything with this ability. that's amazing!!
I think out of all the arcs, this one was the best for Nanzhu showing his jealousy. I loved how he was so catty toward Xu Jin, especially in the novel. Baijie/Zhu Meng was such a wonderful character for him to portray.
“You are fat.” Did you see how tiny that woman is? I think, “It’s not appropriate for grown man and woman to should share a bed” would’ve been better rejection then “you fat” card. That hurts more.

I haven't watched it because I am still confirming that it is indeed a BL. I mean, I really these kinds of series more compared to the more westernized asian BL right now. Don't get me wrong, kissing and hugging are plus, but if the actors are able to portray their love sick roles without those actions, then, the series must be so good. What I don't like in most of Chinese "bromance" adaptation from BL book is the inclusion of a girlfriend to mask what it truly is. As long as there is no third party to distract me from my imagination, then it will be a good one. So... my question, does this series involved a girlfriend all throughout or it is just used once for character development?
