Mister Monopoli is synonymous with Halo 2 and always will be. Like have you ever shot a weapon 32,000 times just to see if something would happen, Monopoli has. Gives the quote "I think we're just getting started" a whole new meaning, much respect.

That 32,000 shots is caused from integer overflow. What happens when the value stored in an unsigned 16 bit integer goes over its maximum value allowed. It happens because of how integers are stored in memory, they are stored in bits. When the integer goes over the maximum allowed binary digit for a 16-bit unsigned integer (1111111111111111) which is 32,768 it gets wrapped back around to (0000000000000000) in binary digits, which is of course 0. Its basically like if an odometer on a bicycle for example, goes over its maximum value, lets say 9,999.9 miles, it will get wrapped back around to zero.
Arbitrary unit possession is really interesting! I didn’t think h2 runs could be more unique, but here I am watching monopli fly through the map as a phantom lol

The whole reason why AUP works is because of how you can take advantage of the Object Pool Array in the game to spawn yourself as the wrong entity. What allows you to transverse through different elements in the pool is by spawning new objects to offset a "salt" to different locations in the pool. Which is done by shooting or throwing grenades. Due to the fact that enemies and marines shoot on their own, it becomes very difficult to predict the Object Pool as you progress throughout the level. Take the Tartarus AUP glitch for example.

Incredible run of my childhood game, I never knew about, uh. Any of these exploits, these tricks, these astounding strategies. You broke reality in half in the first ten minutes, and were only getting warmed up for what came next. Very nice.
I far prefer when a runner goes a minute or two over estimate than what we had last year, where run after run would finish their game in half the time they put as their estimate. It just leads to a ton of dead air time, and they could have fit a few more runs in if they knew just how short those ones would be.

wonder if its possible to coop the gondola section do the body steal glitch and have player2 as an enemy body so player 1 could sword fly to cut time..that would be pretty sweet.IF the reticle turns red when player 2 is an enemy though.
This is a bonkers run, I had no idea how much AUP had made its way into full-game runs. In fact, I’m not even sure who holds the H2 classic records at this point 🤔 A little confused by his Delta Halo routing: No super bounce at the start to walk over the mountain? Grenade jumped with the ghost over to the wraiths instead of through the waterfall? Were those just avoided for safety?

If you mean sword cancel and sword flying, yes you can do them on campaign! On multyplayer they're patched though
