પરમ પૂજય જૈન આચાર્ય અરૂણવિજય મહારાજની પ્રેરણાથી સને ૧૯૮૪ ની સાલમાં એક માત્ર ઉદેશ માનવ સેવાના કાર્ય કરવા માટે " લોક કલ્યાણ કેન્દ્ર" નામના ગૃપની રચના કરવામાં આવી. તેમાં આશરે ૩૫ જેટલા મેમ્સ સેવા આપે છે. આ ગૃપ દ્વારા જામનગરની (૧) મેન્ટલ હોસ્પિટલ, (૨) ટી.બી. હોસ્પિટલ, (૩) અપંગ આશ્રમ, (૪) બહેરા મુંગા સ્કૂલ, (૫) હંસરાજ લાધા બહેનોનો અપંગ આશ્રમ, (૬) એમ. પી. શાહ વૃધ્ધાશ્રમ, (૭) ભાટીયા વૃધ્ધાશ્રમ, (૮) શારદા મંદિર સ્કૂલ, (૯) આણંદાબાવા સેવા સંસ્થાના મહિલના વૃધ્ધાશ્રમ તથા અનાથ આશ્રમ વગેરે જગ્યાએ દર રવિવારે બપોરના ૩:૩૦ થી ૫:૩૦ સમયગાળા દરમ્યાન રૂબરૂ બેસાડીને નાસ્તો પિરસવામાં આવે છે. (નાસ્તામાં સીઝનના દરેક જાતના ફ્રુટસ, મીઠાઈ, ફરસાણ, ગરમાગર જલેબી ગાંઠીયા, પાંઉભાજી, આઈસ્ક્રીમ, ફાલુદો વગેરે) વસ્તુઓ આપવામાં આવે છે. આ ઉપરાંત ઉનાળાની સીઝનમાં એક વખત રસ-પુરીનું ભોજન તથા દિવાળી વખતે મીઠાઈ આપવામાં આવે છે.
આ ગૃપનું સંચાલન માટે કોઈ હોદેદાર નથી કે બેંકના એકાઉન્ટ નથી. માત્ર દાતાઓના સહકારથી જ ચાલે છે. દાતાઓ પાણીની સરવાણીની જેમ આ સંસ્થાને દાન આપવા માટે હર-હંમેશ તૈયાર જ હોય છે. ગૃપનો ઉદેશ એક જ છે” માનવ સેવા એ જ પ્રભુ સેવા " કાર્યક્રમ બાદ નવકાર મંત્રનું સ્મરણ કરીને બધા છુટા પડીએ છીએ.
