Mannn Myke nailed this review with his hilarious big sean impersonation. I have friends that listen to big sean religiously and i cant wait to show em this review.

6 Months later, I can appreciate this album. He has some gems on here: Nothing Is Stopping You, Toyota Music, First Chain, Mona Lisa, MILF, and World Ablaze.
I agree kid cudi stole that track "first chain" because his style and voice is so different they even changed the beat on his verse and just killed everybody on that song.
I literally didn’t know this album existed until I went on Apple Music the other day. The guys were right, this shit was ass and the album made zero impact
I can see DEHH getting to a point where they're a major force in Hip-Hop critique and they eventually have a crowd around them as they do reviews and shit. Would be so GOAT D:
this album review yea Feefo wrapped this album review up for me, I like Detroit better than Hall Of Fame even though Detroit was just a alright mixtape to me but if I had to choose which one to listen between Detroit vs Hall Of Fame? it'll be Detroit over Hall Of Fame. P.S. Myke C-Town had me cracking up on "10 2 10" & "The Greedy Hoes (Skit) (that one the most)" I DO IT BOI (BIG SEAN VOICE) ROFLMFAO
That's the point. And that's why people love the channel. It's a group of friends discussing rap albums, and they are comfortable behind the camera, so we get emotion from them instead of the bland reviews you're used to seeing on other sites/channels.
2Chainz and Big Sean don't belong on GOOD Music. No disrespect to the artists, but they aren't on the same page as Ye or Pusha or as Cudi was. Ye should swap Big Sean for Drake with YMCMB and 2Chainz for Wale. That way those artists would be surrounded by the right beats and influences for what they are doing. And Shady Records should go find a spot with any other label because Eminem can't run a label for shit.
I couldn't agree more. Wale sticks out like a sore thumb on MMG, and doesn't sound good on those "boom boom beats." Big Sean seems to only really care about radio hits and occasional reflective tracks, so YMCMB would be perfect.
It doesn't say so on paper, but 2Chainz is GOOD Music. Yes. Sean has a ton of potential, but it's only gonna be realized if he's around people like Wayne who are best at making the type of hip hop Big Sean makes.
I agree with you for the most part, but not about the Wale shit. Wale doesn't belong on good music either. He is the most average dude alive. No room for simp ass dudes on good music.
YoDawgoneeleven But answer me this tho. What the hell can Wayne and Birdman do for Sean that Kanye couldn't. Wayne can't even put out a decent project HIMSELF anymore. Kanye had his hands on Pusha-T's album and look how good that turned out. Kanye said he's gonna be hands on for Sean's next album and if that's the case he can push Sean to the next level. Plus, Sean isn't even ALL ignorant type shit like 2 chainz is, He'd be the second best artist on that label behind Drake. I'm willing to give him another shot. I really think one day he'll reach his true potential and come fully into his own.
I honestly think his mixtape 'Detroit' should've been an album or at least an EP. It was the closest to introspective and actually solidly done that Big Sean got.
I think the appeal is that his music is just fun to listen to. It's not something where you're gonna take a meaning from but it's just nice to listen to. His songs are catchy, nothing more.
It's not always about reviewing a better project timing has a lot to do with it. 5 dudes w/ 9-5s, gfs, wives, fiances and lives outside of DEHH. Timing is everything
I really like the album. I don't go to big sean for lyrics, i go to listen to his music when I'm chilling out and i put this on in the background; i don't breakdown and analyse his music!
Y'all say exactly what I was thinking when listening to this album. Big Sean really take 10 steps back on this album. The detroit mixtape is better than his two albums. I really was hoping that he will improve. Thank god G.O.O.D. Music has Pusha T.
was waiting for you guys to mention danny brown's comments on big sean. he said essentially what feefo said in the 'final thoughts'. and it woulda got me even more hype for OLD!!
His next album will be the defining factor on whether he's worthy enough to remain in conversation. If he does strengthen his artistry, he will succumb to a career plateau, remain stagnant, and slowly lose relevancy while the rest of his contemporaries move forward and evolve. In addition, releasing Guap at the end of the summer was illogical; poor marketing.
I really liked this album. This album was better than finally famous . I see his improvement though I can't lie. You gotta have an open mind to some extent.
I thought this was pretty good but you sorta woke me up a bit, Im glad you didnt just hate for twenty minutes but you put facts and were honest. Nice review.
Why they go so hard ? I feel like they came in not liking him and that's why they didn't enjoy the project this is 10xs better then any other album he's ever done man I can't agree with this one
The appeal of Big Sean for me is that he's a normal dude having fun and somehow making it. He's relatable to an extent. I know he's kinda corny, not that great of a rapper, but he's entertaining for me to listen to here and there. Sean is like the class clown of hip-hop and for whatever reason I wanna hang out with him. Lol. I'd rather listen to bad raps like his over someone pointlessly destructive like Gucci or Chief Keef.
The album was trash. Finally famous I think was better. But I feel that his Detroit mixtape was the best work I've heard from him. After listening to Detroit I was so hype for his album but I was so disappointed.
I agree that Big Sean might appeal to a certain age group more than others, which is what was said with Finally Famous. The 'oh god' and 'i do it' are now slangs in the teen/early 20s age group. I liked Finally Famous and I like most of Hall of Fame, liked the beats and songs of Sierra Leone and World Ablaze. (But World Ablaze could've been more introspective, I agree, liked James Fauntleroy though.)
Myke C-town had me rolling
Ditto 😂😂😂
Mannn Myke nailed this review with his hilarious big sean impersonation. I have friends that listen to big sean religiously and i cant wait to show em this review.
+Romy Taylor they still thought it was shit
Did Myke mix some of the tracks up on this one? Sean didn't really have any more bars on "MILF" than he did on any other song...
Hey rereview MBDTF
@@jordan12118 LMAO
Jordan Davis he did lol
S Mac and he ain’t gonna like the score either lmao
This album is in my top 5... top 5 worst hip hop albums I've ever listened to.

Spot 5 could either go to:
-Shadows on the Sun

Easily one of the best reviewing TH-cam channels out there. I agree with you guys.
13:09 "Just don't talk" that's like the biggest insult anyone can give to a rapper
Ive been coming back to Mykes part daily. Hilarious
😂😂 C-town “I’d rather hear silence than Big Sean” 19:07
And you thought i was done......BUT I GOT ANOTHER 10!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beezy the Big Sean bully
The bait and switch comment that Myke made gives me life.
the bird at 14:05 sounds like the high pitched voice at the very beginning of control ahahahahahaha
How ironic with Beezy, "I don't fuck with Big Sean." ... "I DON'T FUCK WITH YOU!!!" LMFAO :'D
6 Months later, I can appreciate this album. He has some gems on here: Nothing Is Stopping You, Toyota Music, First Chain, Mona Lisa, MILF, and World Ablaze.
6 months later and I completely forgot that this album existed.
lol
Nothing is stopping you is the only track I fucks with lol the rest was butt cheeks
What's wrong with butt cheeks
7 years later and this album is forgotten and for got reasons
16:13 this review in a whole.
I always watch this from time to time just because lol
Detroit shoulda been his 2nd album instead of H.O.F.
Big Sean is a Good rapper, he as alot of potential...But he still has alot of Growing to do.
Melanin Rebelution fuck no man
Irrelevant artist with an irrelevant catalogue of music
@@ArmLegLegArmHead47 ....
Big Sean is dope as fuck
I always come to this video for Myke’s part/review he went in 😂😂😂😂
this and the lil b review were so damn funny man i always come back to this shit 🤣

I literally didn’t know this album existed until I went on Apple Music the other day. The guys were right, this shit was ass and the album made zero impact
Big Sean himself said this is his least favorite body of work lol. And it’s evident with how much better and sharper he got afterwards
I can see DEHH getting to a point where they're a major force in Hip-Hop critique and they eventually have a crowd around them as they do reviews and shit. Would be so GOAT D:

Romy Taylor 😂😂😂😂
The fun starts at 9:48 😂😂😂😂 damn myke can't stand big sean lol
"Big sean is tryna find his lane; he doesn't have a lane" 😂😂

My most favourite album review ever XD
Beezy doesnt like any album. LMAO!!!
he has fans because of good music and Kanye.
Myke C's rants are timeless
@15:55 "I do it"
Holy shit I died
Big Sean really isn't that bad bruh lol. Idk why they dislike him so much
"Big Sean is that lame in high school"
MAAN!!! I was tellin my boy that same exact shit. Lol
Myke C Town is in my thoughts everything he said is what I have been thinking
I respectfully disagree, ICP taught us that magnets are miracles, what's wacker than that?
I honestly think his mixtape 'Detroit' should've been an album or at least an EP. It was the closest to introspective and actually solidly done that Big Sean got.

there's a difference between relatable subject matter, overdone subject matter, and cliche subject matter, this album was a mix of all three
He's not as bad as they make him out to be.
He is tho thats the thing
The guy with the dreads said that big Sean's voice was annoying but he said he likes Danny brown. Lol
this was hilarious😂😂😂
Big Sean may not be the best technical rapper but he has a certain type of charisma when he raps
15:51 needs to get animated hahaha
was waiting for you guys to mention danny brown's comments on big sean. he said essentially what feefo said in the 'final thoughts'. and it woulda got me even more hype for OLD!!
Myke had the smooveest delivery 9:48
D5 was dope. Best weezy mixtape since no ceilings.
His next album will be the defining factor on whether he's worthy enough to remain in conversation. damm beezy you guys straight up throwin big sean under the bus.
I really liked this album. This album was better than finally famous . I see his improvement though I can't lie. You gotta have an open mind to some extent.
Those guys are funny 😂😂
I thought this was pretty good but you sorta woke me up a bit, Im glad you didnt just hate for twenty minutes but you put facts and were honest. Nice review.
As a 17 year old, this album is fucking shit.
Leaf Me Alone his new album has me interested at least. Bounce back was dope af.
Romy Taylor it was dope. I'm hoping I don't get to hear cringe worthy bars that make me wanna cut myself.
Romy Taylor thank God, nothing can fix a shitty artist like perspective. Let's hope it's sunken in fully how shitty his last couple albums were.
Holy shit!! DEHH crew ethered this album!!
"Next time somebody try to tell how run your shit ain't they ain't major shit do yourself a favor kick 'me out" - Big Sean All Figure Out
It's "ain't made you shit"
Why they go so hard ? I feel like they came in not liking him and that's why they didn't enjoy the project this is 10xs better then any other album he's ever done man I can't agree with this one
Oh yeah and do Dizzy Golden age or Age against the machine next plz

I like sean's music.
Great review guys!!!
BIG SEAN GOT ETHERED!
great review guys
How can people talk about kinge being to old for big sean when he loves 2 Chainz! Great review! Agreed with everything Myke said..
Please review Dedication 5! I know Myke loved it.
I enjoyed this review a lot because I thought I was tripping about the way i felt about big sean I feel better knowing ppl feel the same way.
Dope lighting on this one, yo.
And you thought I was done but I got another teeeeeen! Loooool
Great review

The Dedication 5 review is gunna be too good.
your definition of bars is frightening
LOL ! Myke's rants are classic man.
The album was trash. Finally famous I think was better. But I feel that his Detroit mixtape was the best work I've heard from him. After listening to Detroit I was so hype for his album but I was so disappointed.
U know what's funny? As I watch this... HILARIOUS review, I like this album less and less!
The only time i ever kinda digged Big Sean was his verse on Lookin For Trouble, But then i stopped caring when Cole KILLED that shit
AMEN! THANK YOU! MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!
Holy shit its Anthony Fantano! Hi Anthony!
LOL Myke's "Lame" Speech had me dying!!!!
Off topic - Does anyone else besides me wonder how DEHH picks the locations for their shoots? lol
"I rather hear silence than Big Sean" LMAOOO!!!
