I went to Running Warehouse expecting to see the whole grail of shoe/running store, but it was literally just a super small section. Lol maybe there is a different area for special guests but man it was extremely disappointing 😂

Nice 1st test of the SC V3..I'm sure you are liking the reduced humidity on the west coast..it changes everything about how your body reacts and I always loved how the sweat evaporated instead of pooling in your shoes..😅 have a great time and enjoy some desert air,just beware of the intensity of the sun without the water vapor in the air..you can quickly appreciate why the pros all train in mountain air..😊

Glad to hear about your post run thoughts, those are the reasons why I love the superblast v1. I’m 185 lbs so it feels firmer at easy paces but the foam compresses and pops at faster paces w/o feeling mushy. I might have to pre-order these now to replaces the old reliable SB V1.

I was soo waiting for this. Had the SC Elive V4, loved the ride but i had everything...heel slip, then heel blisters, then lace bite :) I was hoping the SC trainer would be somewhat similar but with more comfy upper.

Man, here I was checking out Asheville, NC for the first time and meanwhile you were filming a video a block away from where I work in SLO. Bob Jones trail is my spot, probably 80% of my casual runs. You even got a (low key) shot of some of my environmental monitoring TLD’s in Avila. Great video, hope you had a good trip!
Yes, your right lots of people use plated shoes for walking, I am one of those folks. In my shoe rotations I have certain shoes for different occasions. my shoes now consist of mostly New Balance shoes with the exceptions of On Cloud eclipse, Nike Invincible Run 2 and 3, and my new pair of Nova Blast 4s and Nimbus 25s. my New Balance shoes consist of SCT v1 and v2, SCE v4, 1080v12 slip on, 1080v13s, More v4s, more v5s, and last but not least the Rebel v4s in blue cause I got the fruity color in the SCE v4. Now if you ask which are my Favorite plated shoe its by far the SCT v1 I have put over 400 miles on that shoe and still walk in it everywhere I go, so it's like a everything shoe for me! but the one I exercise in the most would be SCE v4, and my most comfortable shoe to date is my More v5's, and I use my 1080 v13's for recovery soon as I am done with my 10 miles walk I pull off w/e shoe I was exercising in and throw on the softest shoe New Balance has the 1080 v13 in BLUE my favorite color!!

The SC Trainer V3 is the shoe that looks like my 1080 V13, Rebel V4 and SC Trainer V2 get into way too much Awesome Sauce at a marathon major and had a Ménage à trois. When I wake up at 4 AM and can't get back to sleep. I'm more used to Running Warehouse's sister company, Tennis Warehouse where I've watched a ton of racquet reviews. Oh, it's a group run. The guy you were running with sounds interesting too as a high-school tennis player. It sounds like Connor.
For someone who doesn’t do professional running or wont be winning any races any time soon but just looks for constant improvement on their own pace (talking 23minute 5km here). Is the sc elite or sc trainer a better buy regardless of price? I have another shoe as my daily trainer.

Congrats on the invi to RW HQ! You deserve all the successes bro! Now that the characteristics of this V3 are changed so much to V2, would you say it’s going in the direction of the race shoe (SC elite V4)? The lines are getting so blurred now between shoes in any given lineup
Got some more miles in the v3 and it's definitely nudged closer to the race shoe. Firmer foam, less of a rocker than the trainer v3 and overall similar vibe to the race shoe (higher forefoot cushion, takes more force to compress)
How does it compare to the elite v4? I have the elite v4 in my collection and I've been pulling it out for training. Not trying to save it. Is there a need for the Trainer v3 if I have the elite v4?
I don’t like the sound of the sc trainer 3. I loved the 1 and the 2 was good , I liked them because of the soft and bouncy foam there are plenty of firmer options out there but not many softer So the one thing I liked about the sc is gone there’s no point getting it

But I really wanted to say that I noticed you had long pants. I am strictly shorts and short sleeve above freezing. I don't know last time I had long top or bottom while not in snow. I thought you were the same. I'm hoping you're there long enough to fit in more running ...... in shorts!

Glad it's firmer than last version. I like v2, but after spending most of my miles in the superblast the v2 just felt too soft.

Yeah it was about 10 people - Connor and I went back and forth to get some more miles in. The pants weren't too bad! It was only 60 something degrees

New Balance SC trainer V2 is terrible for me. Soft and clunky... Became a sponge with a rocker after a few long runs. Donated them ASAP.
