  • The latest addition to the Gin Genie paraglider harness range is billed as a harness for cross-country pilots who also want to hike-and-fly or go on vol-bivouac adventures. It fits between the Genie X-Alps and the Genie Lite 3. Available in four sizes it weighs between 3kg and 3.5kg and is suitable for everyday use.
We test flew it in the southern French Alps.

Please make it again but without the untrusted Koroyd and instead with an Airbag. A bigger cargo area too. Then the perfect harness!

I really really don't get it. Why did they put the Zipper for the Storage at the Bottom of the Flight deck and not on the top?
This is one of the reasons why i sold my Genie Lite 3... Totally user unfriendly in my oppinion. also the zippers on the side. Why not doing it with magnets? The genie Lite would have been such an amazing harness, but these features made me sell it again. And i will also not buy the xlite due to these reasons :( very sad, would love to have one, cause flight characteristics are super awesome

What did you end up going with instead? In the market also

@@AMJB100000000 I switched from the Advance Lightness 3 to the Genie Lite 3 and switched back to the Lightness 3. It has much more features that make life in the air just a bit easier. Cockpit Handling, side poaches, packing (though the genie xlite looks much more compact), and the backpack is just much more thoughtfully created. It's the small things that brought me to that decision. Although i must say, i prefer the inflight handling of the Genie Lite 3 much more than the one on the lightness 3. Lightness 3 is a hamock style harness and doesn't have a seatplate. Weightshift control is much better on the Genie.
Over all, the lightness is still better for me, also because i can use it for volbiv ;) th-cam.com/video/JnZtnc_P38Y/w-d-xo.html

I'm so frustrated! I am in the market for a new POD. I have been flying the X-Alps GTO for years. I am ready to lighten my load, but there just feels to be a lack of options. I want sub 4.0KG with a seat board. I thought the Swing Connect Race was my Pod, but you cant find a dealer in the US worth anything and Large size is on back order. Then i see this harness, but fear some of the points you guys have raised are valid. There should be an inflatable option, no zippers, and flight deck storage upward orientation. Finally, i fear that this harness wont provide any added warmth.

Nice harness no doubt. Those side pockets look pretty narrow if you're wear a decent sized glove though.

Unbelievable. Koroyod hard protector in a harness they made for bivvy? Why? Why not inflatable airbag? Already GGL3 basic complaint was large pack size due to that protector, and they used it in a bivvy harness.

It’s not unbelievable. It’s absolutely unconditionally unrealistically diabolical. I couldn’t even fit my condoms in there!!!

Pack size is surprisingly small i found. Less than my old light open harness. The only downside i find is storage space in the rear compartment. Not so good for vol biv which is a bit of a let down!
