I would definitely use salvage edges on cards and projects like this, and yes… I have used the descriptive bit in a quilt. Incorporating them in a future fabric or paper design is an awesome idea.

Absolutely love the fabrics! I have sorta dabbled in sewing but I'm more of a card maker and scrapbooker but my mother is a sower and a quilter so I think I'm going to find these fat quarters for her and maybe ask her to make me some Halloween pillows for Christmas!!

I watched hot bit and an anxiously awaiting but since I’d missed first bit I’m rewatching - snack pack omg ge opus I love that !! And the 10” squares in the quilt works we call layer cakes so snack pack sounds perfect Tim!! 💕
I'm terrible at sewing (somehow I always end up with snarled thread), and even if I never got into fabric myself, seeing all these makes is NECESSARY to my own creative process. I'm a perfectionist, and I can sometimes be paralyzed with fear of making mistakes. Seeing those cats that Tami B. made was absolutely inspiring. I would have agonized over sewing on the eyes, but her imperfect eyes were what "made" those cats for me. Those whimsical expressions were everything!

I love all the material, I am a quilter and I am thinking I can make a table runner for my Halloween 🎃 for my kitchen with potholders and for my handles on my stove and refrigerator because I decorate my kitchen according to the month and the holiday and the pillows I love and I’m also thinking about making a Halloween quilt for our bed. Also just so you know most actual fabric shops in my area will cut fat quarters as long as they sell fat quarters . But if you’re like me you buy the bundle from SSS AND then buy some yardage 😂
