@@anniebarrett3684 they didn't have dresses when I got married, but I got a beautiful off white, lace overlay pencil skirt from there and was married in it!
I got my wedding dress from Torrid, got married Oct 24, 2019. Loveddddddd it! Only thing I had to alter was the length.
They looked pretty but I feel like you should of waited to have someone help you zip these dresses up, we didn’t really get a full look of the dresses because you couldn’t turn around, this was not a full try on haul

Alex, you look gorgeous and your glowing! Simply beautiful! Just curious why you didn’t wait until someone could help you put on these dresses before filming? Makes it hard to take the video serious when you are holding the dress up the entire time.
kristanmmm completely agree, it seems the rush to get wedding content out made this very messy. I truly feel happy for her, but girl, quality over quantity.

as other comments are saying.... be prepared for a huge size difference when you go to the salon to find your dress! i am a solid size 16 and when i tried on all the various wedding dresses most of them were a 20-22, i believe the dress i picked was a size 22! it can feel like a bummer but just know the bridal industry is mfs for no reason and runs small lol.
TRUTH! Wedding dress sizes are like a whole other world. But no one should be defined by that number. It's how you look and feel in the dress that matters.

Love these dresses under $200 videos. I’m a bride on a itty bitty budget so these help a lot.
I love your videos and I love you but I wish you’d include the prices so we could know how much these options are because you say how affordable they are but don’t say the prices? and like actually give the dresses a shot by zipping them up and steaming like you mention multiple times in the video. Because it’s really hard to see what it would look like just hanging off you and looks like it very much just came out of the box.

Sarah Boyde she’s making content. A lot of other content like this is very much more put together. This just seemed rushed. If this is her job I wish she would have put more effort into the small details because it DOES make a difference. I’m not attacking her and I don’t appreciate you attacking me and my opinion.

Zip trick - open a paper clip into an S shape, tie a longish ribbon to one end of the paper clip, hook the other end of the clip to the zipper pull, put the ribbon over your head and pull up. Voila, zipped.

No one is paying your ass to buy a wedding gown from amazon, even so their decent enough if you are having a small wedding. Not everyone can afford the overly expensive gowns at wedding shops these. Must be nice to have that kind of money. Mr richy rich.

I was a 14 when I got married and in the Bridal shop I was a 20-22 so be prepared for that. I had tried on dresses in my true size before asking for help and I just felt devastated but I guess it’s pretty common for the sizing to be all over the place.
I know it's very frustrating I've never been married but being a bridesmaid and maid of honor few times I order dresses online and had to send them back twice because of the sizing

wouldn't it go by Measurements? Like in inches?! ppl are so used to vanity sizing that no one really knows their size. I honestly don't mean that in a sassy way at all. We sud all know our measurements in inches

I think the jewel bodice looks nice on you. It's good to try on dresses and get a feel for what looks best on you. You definitely should do the illusion neckline.

100% recommended a corset. Zippers and buttons pop. You can’t risk that!! I had a corset, best decision. Also recommend something that goes over the shoulder, lace is suggested 😍

Yes actually. You all are lucky if you can afford or choose to spend a lot of money on a dress. Some of us are on a budget and I really like the last one actually.
There was nothing wrong with these dresses. Once you have it steamed that would help a lot. The fitting isn't looking right because she couldn't zip any of them, which she should have waited and had someone there to help her do that. These dresses are beautiful and not everyone can afford to go buy an exspesive dress.

I know youre excited and we are excited for you.... but its okay to slow down. Take your mom and maybe a friend to a wedding shop like Davids Bridal. They will measure you and you can look thru their catalog and pick out the styles you like. They also help you try on quality dresses with the correct undergarments on. I do like the last dress but feel theres better out there. This is a one day affair. Dont say yes to the dress unless it absolutely blows you away! Love you Alex!
