Another one to add to the list Timm, clear and precise tutorial as usual. Tell me could you possibly do a video on fuel filter replacement at all ? As that’s next on my list, and after watching your various videos, gives me and many others all the confidence to do it ourselves. 👍
If the LED bulb were still getting heat soaked from the halogen bulb and shortening leds life would 'pairing' it to a a 24 volt 38mm halogen festoon run cooler and still keep the check control happy?
Great guide Timm, do you think it would be possible to make a little heatshield to sit between the filament and LED festoons? Possible coat it with some foil to reflect the LED light down as well? Or even pop a little heat resistant sleeve over the filament bulb? Would that increase the life of the LED?

Thanks for sharing. Nice to see another using RS (Radio Spares) style screw drivers 👍
Blimey, they have been the best set you could get - had them 15 years now!

The problem is that to pass the 'hot bulb' test the tungsten has to dissipate 5W, and 5W is 5W no matter which bulb (or resistor) you use!
Nice video.... have you thought about doing a General Module capacitor repair video? There is one on TH-cam but picture quality isn't great.
Yes I have, but mine isn't broken (yet), when it is I'll do it!

Possibly, let's see what happens with this new method first!

Timm. I need to get in touch with you about a transmission problem. How can we contact?
If you have problems join Bimmerforums.com or .co.uk, I'm on those forums
If there were any lights I wanted to be as dim as legally possible it would be my number plate ones ...
