Love your videos. I wanted to ask... I am pure math/stats with a background playing football and growing up on soccer. You just mentioned something that I have to walk away from the computer when I'm betting live or betting in general and it's the same tactics I use when I am programming an application. Keep your emotion at the door. If I am creating an algorithm and I see I am stuck or caught up and start getting frustrated, I walk away from whatever I'm doing for 30 mins to clear my mind and I do the same thing for sports betting as well. EMOTION is your worst enemy. I know I sound like a robot but it's exactly what you just stated. I think another thing bettors need to be prepped for is "Hey, I'm a huge INSERT TEAM NAME HERE, and I want to put a bet on them and watch it" Cardinal rule, stay away from your team. I've been betting soccer for years now.... It's my bread and butter. I cannot bet on any Juventus games because I will literally just bet them every game because they are Juventus. Two ways to win. It's very easy to get true odds from bookmakers. Since pinnacle is apparently best we will take their odds. Let's say odds are 1.95,1.95. obviously simple example and true chances are 50-50. Here's how to calculate it. Turn 1.95 into chances, that's 51.3%. so 51.3%x2 is 102.6%. Divide bookmakers advantage (2.6%) to 2 since there are 2 outcomes which is 1.3. 51.3 -1.3 is 50. So true odds are 2. Now just find a bookie that has higher odds than 2. Second way is live betting while watching the game. Bookmakers have algorithms that move odds in live events automatically. For example for every 5 minutes without a goal they will rise odds for let's say 0.10 and they may use some stats and player wagers. Now if you watch a game you have much better knowledge of game than algorithm. And it's possible to beat it. For me having commentators actually help. I remember in final of champions league. After Liverpool second goal, guy said this could easily turn into 5+ game. I listened to him and bet on over 5.5 with great odds and won. Things like using machine learning etc are worthless. You can't beat their expensive algorithms with your simple model. There's just no way. You're better off betting on your knowledge than stats

Yes exactly right. you should be looking at 55% at -110 (1.91)or if you can get a sportsbook that is -105(1.95) it will dramatically increase your profit. obviously if you are betting more favorites you win % would need to be higher and vice versa for underdogs. it is important you track all of your bets so you not only know your win% and ROI but also the average odds you bet at because it is important as well. I am a loosing sports bettor mostly I think it is lack of discipline action junky type stuff when I put the time in and just type the player stats into excel I probably have a unreal winning percentage but it takes me about 2 hours just to look at one game and those two hours don't always result in I should bet on this team or that team. I am trying to learn how to do webscraping so the computer will put all of the stats into excel for me so in 2 hours I will be able to look at 5 games and one of those will be great.

Creating accurate lines is the toughest part of sports betting. The real pros use computer models based on dozens or hundreds of variables that are weighted based on the results of hundreds (or thousands in Baseball and basketball) of games. When you see that the average winning margin in the NFL is about 11 points you realise how way off most lines actually are...

WoW! That's a really nice touch on what it truly needs to make it happen. I myself still consider amateur player, even though I tend to spend hours researching info before the games nowadays instead of relying on the odds or last h2h matches... And it's still tough. I mean the information about teams and stuff is really limited, as the bookies I believe have deeper knowledge (many bookies now are main sponsors of big clubs and tournaments) about the game beforehand. In the end, from all the gathered information, I must say, I still try to rely on my instinct and try to find the odds, which look too good, often even going against public opinion. And for the last couple of months it's actually going good, while hitting around 45% of my bets, as the odds I pick are always >2.
The problem is the best games to bet on are in Leagues that the bookies don't know anything about, like Finland or Paraguay or something but if you put all your bets on that stuff they will just close your account.

There are very few profession sports betters that make there living just betting sports. . Many supplement their income selling picks. Think of this way . If you bet 1000 a day ..so 10 bets at 100 each on even money plays , 365 days of the year and hit 55 per cent (which would be unreal ) your profit for the year would be only just over 35000. Just have fun.
Took me years to get there. Nothing in life is easy. I bet on sports daily and worked 3 jobs to build my bankroll to $100,000. Worked 7 days a week 16-18 hours a day. It was the only thing in my life. And I did it. Not a comment directed at you but I just don’t see a lot of willingness from people to immerse themselves into their goals. Just know that nothing happened for me overnight. It took lots of time.
You don't need 100k to make a living from gambling. I've done it with 10k. But then again I'm not betting on American sports with no value. I make my money betting on Tennis outsiders and UK greyhounds. Where the winning odds can be as big as 16/1. The thing you must master is the LOSING STREAK. Not the winning streak. Here in the UK we have thousands of highstreet bookmakers. Like William Hill and Ladbrokes. You don't even need an online account in the UK. It's the ultimate place to be a pro gambler. And you can stay under the radar forever..

I follow you all the time and I realize you are the real deal. But a $100,000 bankroll would be maybe 1% of all betters if that.
Took me years to get there. Nothing in life is easy. I bet on sports daily and worked 3 jobs to build my bankroll to $100,000. Worked 7 days a week 16-18 hours a day. It was the only thing in my life. And I did it. Not a comment directed at you but I just don’t see a lot of willingness from people to immerse themselves into their goals. Just know that nothing happened for me overnight. It took lots of time.
You don't need 100k to make a living from gambling. I've done it with 10k. But then again I'm not betting on American sports with no value. I make my money betting on Tennis outsiders and UK greyhounds. Where the winning odds can be as big as 16/1. The thing you must master is the LOSING STREAK. Not the winning streak.

I have a 68% winning percentage, 11/16 games, most of them are between 2.00 - 2.50 odds, started of with €200 now 4 days later I got €1700 that’s a €1500 profit in less than a week.
