I second this. Not only has it allowed some fun content to follow as Captain got it going again, his ability to do things on the homestead went up a notch.
Mike, for some reason when you were down in the woods the song "Slip Slidin Away" came to mind 😅🤣😂Thanks for all your hard word and extra effort it takes to video this part of your life and as always, may you continue to be abundantly blessed. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
It is going to be a wonderful relaxing home away from home for future holiday makers. Making it with the old backhoe - it ireally is a credit to you Captain Kleeman.
I can't wait for the proper repairs to be done so you can put those counterweights back on. The lack of front tire traction and control is so frustrating! But the dance on the hill was pure comedy! 🤣🤣
Knowing your equipment makes your job go better. A lot of work accomplished with the Ford, but then the Deere comes in to do the tidy up work. It's really taking shape.
Good to See You Mike, the Scratcher is a Game Changer for You. Anyone who has Time on a Backhoe knows just how much work you can get completed with One, they are Universal Tools that aren’t Great @ Much in my opinion but sufficient for a Multitude ( thats a lot I think😂) of Projects. You are Establishing a Great Piece of Property, I look forward to the next Project. I’ll catch you on the next one, Keep it Safe Out There Sir
Well I mean being as it's not done you wouldn't want the dry dock flooding prematurely. I think we all can agree a high level of premature moisture is never good...
I was thinking the same thing Jason when he mentioned not wanting the water coming of the hill hitting it. Then I remembered some of the inexperienced boat “captains” that you can see trying to exit Haulover Inlet on TH-cam and the wave coming over the bow can wash people overboard. That would be a publicity nightmare for Captain Kleeman.
When the hydraulic hose blew, I thought you hit a tree and we were getting rain drops 😂 Bones is getting it done, letting you knock out a little at a time 💪👍🇺🇸
2 days later I get to catch up on my TH-cam channels eating breakfast and the first one I check out is the Captain using his backho on the TH-cam yacht clearing. One step at a time as Captain K. says. Thanks for the breakfast entertainment Cap. K.
Another bust hose..... as you say, to be expected 😬..... the shorter length works in your favor, over here there was a spring coil the attached to the head of the stick to keep those extendahoe hoses up and out the way and then they were clamped in place half way down the boom under the cylinder so they formed a lazy S shape. Great to see the land taking shape, 555 is proving an invaluable tool in your endeavours Mike 💪👍
The 555 is working out great for you and the 755 seems to have accepted its new place in the hierarchy. Although it could just be silently plotting its revenge.
That dirt work around the TH-cam yacht turned out really well Captain. You are one determined young man. Keep working those projects little by little and pretty soon they’ll start being replaced on the whiteboard with new ones. Stay safe.
Your backhoe has been a huge help in meeting your goals. You've done some work where a dozer would have been nice but I'm sure that's not financially possible. What if you had a plate or even cut up an old snow plow blade that would pin to the front of the backhoe bucket for when you needed to do some light pushing or grading? Just a thought.
I love this guy: “Here’s hoping there’s not a snake under there” next thing, he’s walking in to pull up the fabric wearing crocs. 😂 That reminds me of the time my older brother trapped a rattlesnake in one of those large Folger coffee cans. He was barefooted, so I thought he was bluffing me. Nope, he had trapped a rattler for sure, and it wasn’t happy when I daringly lifted the can.
Was curious when you got into all that stone if you were going to save any or just bury it all and hope the Admiral never found out about it. 😂 Things look to be coming along nicely, I'm sure you'll get plenty of use out of the thumb and likely do your own mods. Look forward to seeing project #6. As always, keep up the great work Capt. and thanks for bringing us along.
Mike great outro, watching you in the backhoe reminds me of when i was young watching the show the green acres 😁great progress its going to look awesome.👏👏👏👍👍👍👌👌👌
Captain's First Mate Little Helper. for your cage. Its C & C. Thats got ya working hard with the 555. Told ya she would do a good job. The T L C you give it. Just keeps you going. Looking good Captain.
Look on the bright side, at least with all that free rock you've found you won't have to buy in as much gravel. The 555 starting 1st time every time, is a testament to all the hard work and tenacity you put in to getting the engine issues resolved. It sure seems to be making life a whole lot easier. 👍🤗
Hey Captain, you might find the "shale rock" somewhat of a problem but I just wish I had some it on my property. After I get through the top soil on my place it is totally wet old blue clay that you can roll into balls and is so slick. If it rains just forget about going out on any slight hillside because you would slide to the bottom wherever that might be. Thanks for taking us along! J.R.
Those hydraulic hoses... dangling back and forth, and always close to the stuff you're working on... I'm sure the weld-on thumb will help a lot in this regard !
Cap’n, I hope when you finish the yacht you put down a mass planting of blue carpet Bugleweed or similar ground cover. Give the appearance of the yacht on a sea of blue.
I was hoping you’d find some money in the budget to get a thumb on that thing..I’m betting that will speed up clearing! Another awesome video as usual.
That is looking sweet young man, nice job of back filling and grading. As for old equipment repairs, well, it just goes with the territory, my book book it is cheaper than renting/leasing and it always readily available when your ready to go. And the triple Nickel definitely one sweet find sir.
I'm not likely to be around in 30 years when you decide to do some landscaping around the bow of the TH-cam boat and "find" that huge piece of concrete!! "Amazing, pre-historic concrete found near a land-locked boat in southern Indiana!!" 😳😱 "Grand-Dad! Don't you remember where that rock' came from?!" 🤪😝
Looking good Mike, that 555 is the little tractor that could. Great work. It looks like you always have a half bucket of dirt in there,is there a reason you do that. Keep the videos coming. God Bless
That is shaping up nice. Has to feel good seeing it come together. Be pretty cool to plant drifts of a couple colors of blue crocus for spring blooming when it’s done. Would look like waves on the ocean.
Hello Captain. With great joy have i to see that You finite beginning the Boat and the Surroundings farther to Form. I have not more on a Continuation think. Make farther and the Idea to End. 😅💪
That rocky material makes good fill. Only problem I see is you better be at grade or below when you place it. It will be hard to cut if it is too high. Real nice job with the tools you have.
Whoever came up with 'Thunder Crate' for your sorta knock off 'Thunder Creek' rig is pretty clever. Wish I'd thought of that. Anyway, always nice to see work in this area, the whole place is shaping up nicely
When you speed up the footage you resemble the 555 begins to resemble the backhoe in the Bob the Builder cartoon! Thanks for the great content! Maybe someone has some tire chains for the 555.
See, now, THAT is exactly what I pictured from the first back hoe video, Mike down in the brush, trying to get the old back hoe back up the hill! Perfect!! Didn’t get a tree locked between the out rigger and the rear tire yet though :) that is always fun! (Ask me how I know)
Just a thought on your droopy hydraulic line, use a large zip tie to secure the hose to the hydraulic cylinder. It will still droop but it won't go as far. It also has the added benefit of taking some of the stress off the cylinders hydraulic fitting.
So satisfying to see the ole ford doing work again. Not long ago it laid to rest forgotten by the past. To be brought back to life by Captain Kleman..
Thank you C&C for making the Captains work a little easier. What a deal.
Clint's a good dude.
I second this. Not only has it allowed some fun content to follow as Captain got it going again, his ability to do things on the homestead went up a notch.

the old 555 is a beast of a backhoe- doing work every day-Good Job Getting it back running and operating
Things are taking shape and the old iron horse is making it happen.
Lookin good, Mike and the smile on your face says it all.🤙
Man oh man, just waiting on the darn thumb to come down. The next thing to fix, installation thumb.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 yeah, like these👍👍👍
You gotta be loving that 555. She’s coming around real nice, looking good 👍✌️
No better way to start the day. Captain Kleeman and a cup of coffee.
I'll second that.😊
It is going to be a wonderful relaxing home away from home for future holiday makers. Making it with the old backhoe - it ireally is a credit to you Captain Kleeman.
The boat in the woods is reason I clicked your channel. So different and unusual!!!! Gone on two years, I think. 👍👍👍👍👍🎆
I can't wait for the proper repairs to be done so you can put those counterweights back on. The lack of front tire traction and control is so frustrating! But the dance on the hill was pure comedy! 🤣🤣
The 555 is paying for itself even though it’s a little bit slow. Great investment for the homestead. Lookin good. Thanks
YES ! A new Captain Kleeman video 👍 so happy 👍😁😁🇺🇸🇬🇧
The mighty Triple Nickel…..!
Big progress, congrats, and thanks.
Knowing your equipment makes your job go better. A lot of work accomplished with the Ford, but then the Deere comes in to do the tidy up work. It's really taking shape.
You are getting on to the backhoe in a big way. Great progress. Never a dull moment with the variety of things you are into.
Pretty darn awesome. Every little bit makes it look so darn much better
When it said "Unleashing" I had images of burst hydraulic hoses in my head. Kleeman never fails to deliver on his promises!
Thumb 👍 YES!!! I'm glad you got it. Maybe I'll stop stressing about it now. 😅
Good to see you back on your boat house.
Good to See You Mike, the Scratcher is a Game Changer for You. Love the Full Metal Jacket reference
Land scape looking good.
Being that it’s a boat I wouldn’t have thought drainage would’ve been such a concern. Huh. The moar you know!
Since it’s stuck in the woods, right next to the National Forest… it wouldn’t be good to swamp it!
Hi bud…
Well I mean being as it's not done you wouldn't want the dry dock flooding prematurely. I think we all can agree a high level of premature moisture is never good...

getting newer one hose at a time. big improvement around the boat great to see. thanks for the fun. cheers captain.
2 days later I get to catch up on my TH-cam channels eating breakfast and the first one I check out is the Captain using his backho on the TH-cam yacht clearing.
One step at a time as Captain K. says.
Thanks for the breakfast entertainment Cap. K.
That is not dirt but rock! :) The Backhoe is better than a pick, that would suck. Thank you and have a great week.
The biggest project yet. 🤔ok you have my attention. The TH-cam yacht is coming along quite nicely. Yep quite nicely.
The old " triple nickle " is sure earning its keep!!! Stay safe brother.

Great video Captain! One thing about you, is that you do not disappoint! Also the rocks don't mess around either 👀 WOW!
The 555 is working out great for you and the 755 seems to have accepted its new place in the hierarchy. Although it could just be silently plotting its revenge.

Something bigger than the TH-cam yacht or ford backhoe projects, this I gotta see.
Thank you Captain. You do a great service to people who are not able to work as hard as you do anymore.
The 555 is showing it’s might well done the old girl the captain is doing great too great watch 👍👋🇨🇦
Now that is looking great Mike❤
I love this guy: “Here’s hoping there’s not a snake under there” next thing, he’s walking in to pull up the fabric wearing crocs. 😂

Getting it done. that motor in 555 running good since rebuild
Mike great outro, watching you in the backhoe reminds me of when i was young watching the show the green acres 😁great progress its going to look awesome.👏👏👏👍👍👍👌👌👌
Looking a lot better 👍
Looking nice around the boat! 👍 Looking forward to seeing the new project.
Progress on the yacht project. Looking good so far Mike.
Captain's First Mate Little Helper. for your cage. Its C & C. Thats got ya working hard with the 555. Told ya she would do a good job. The T L C you give it. Just keeps you going. Looking good Captain.
Captain looks great, moving dirt really makes a difference! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Evening captain, the yacht is starting to look like it was always there. It’s come a long way from the first location. Looking forward to the next one
Morning Captain the old Deere is doing good excited about the yacht people think I’m crazy when I talk about it but it’s cool 😎 ❤
Look on the bright side, at least with all that free rock you've found you won't have to buy in as much gravel. I enjoy your work. I hesitate to push my issues onto you. However, you not emptying the bucket, is driving me crazy. I know, my issue. Great content.
It's a waste of time to dump the bucket when just pushing dirt.
Really nice landscaping rocks you’ve found there!!!
Stray’s really really like them 22lr flavored biscuits
Hey Captain, you might find the "shale rock" somewhat of a problem but I just wish I had some it on my property. I do love your positive outlook and attitude on stuff. Keep up the enthusiasm. 😊
What a difference the grading makes!
Love it when I wake up to a notification of captain Kleeman video!
Looks good Capt.
The 555 is impressive…. Great job
It sure is!
A statement of what a very skilled feller can produce with some slightly older machinery👍👍
Great Job as always !!!!
Your videos are always released at 5:55 CST. Very fitting. 😂
looking good Captain
TH-cam Yacht is really shaping up. It was such a cool idea 💡. Have you seen Jesse MuellerMueller's ICF house lately. It looks great.
Coming along looking great!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!
Everything is looking great with the TH-cam yacht. Hopefully I'll get a booking when it opens.
Morning captain things are taking shape...Great to see mote progress
Coming along nicely, run what ya brung. Thanks
Big improvement on the yacht build 🎅🏻
Good morning. It's looking great! I think it's awesome 🎉🎉❤
Hey Cap'n looking good that's shaping up nicely 🙃👍
Hi Hi Captain. Good morning from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Wow it's amazing what a difference moving a bit a dirt can do 😊😊
Good thing you're keeping the water away from your boat!
Those rocks look like good raw material for a stone walkway or patio.
Those hydraulic hoses... dangling back and forth, and always close to the stuff you're working on... I'm sure the weld-on thumb will help a lot in this regard !
#6 Building an exact replica of Bridge over the River Kwai
Cap’n, I hope when you finish the yacht you put down a mass planting of blue carpet Bugleweed or similar ground cover. Give the appearance of the yacht on a sea of blue.
I was hoping you’d find some money in the budget to get a thumb on that thing..I’m betting that will speed up clearing! Another awesome video as usual.
Run what you brung. Those 55’s work good with each other. 😁
👍 Gettin' er' done. Looks good. Wonder if you could find some blue plants to surround it with?
That is looking sweet young man, nice job of back filling and grading. As for old equipment repairs, well, it just goes with the territory, my book book it is cheaper than renting/leasing and it always readily available when your ready to go. And the triple Nickel definitely one sweet find sir.
Looking very good, working on next stage of build with ground work completed easier. Stump moving with bucket & chain?
I'm not likely to be around in 30 years when you decide to do some landscaping around the bow of the TH-cam boat and "find" that huge piece of concrete!! You are quite proficient with that machine. Keep up the good work.
i really enjoy your content. Nice to see a guy work with what he has and get things done. Good work!

Hello Captain. With great joy have i to see that You finite beginning the Boat and the Surroundings farther to Form. I have not more on a Continuation think. Make farther and the Idea to End. 😅💪
Enjoyable content
Looking good Captain! The old triple nickel has been a big plus. It's going to be awesome when it's done. Thanks for sharing. Keep um coming!

Just don’t ever call it the Thunder Box! That is Aussie slang for a dunny 😂😂😂

So so good it's shaping up nice Mike.
Good thing you have those snakeproof crocs.
