here's the thing, we know for a fact that raysand is going to obliterate our hearts. we've seen it in the trailer, we read tweets from p'jo about how ray is a huge red flag and khaotung plays him with a lot of layers, and we're still deeply invested in this tragic love story. this is amazing! as someone who doesn't like watching angsty stories (i'll read it to my heart's content but watching it is a different story), i'm dreading the moment this relationship starts going downhill because i'll feel absolutely destroyed by them

But yes, my baby is so 100% RED FLAG and I’m colour blind for him I will go to war for Ray and Sand… and Nick. If the angst is good, I’m in, if it can hurt me and heal me, I am in and if its First and Khao doing it I am so in. I will admit I too am not looking forward to the painful parts of their story because if it’s one thing I know it’s that those 2 know how to make me feel pain but it just makes the making up part so much sweeter.

KhaoFirst are my ship and MVP couple of this series, the chemistry is so natural Between them that sometimes they forget they are actually filming and just chilling like they do irl. Plus we get our Nonnie in this episode my girl.

I also think Ray thinks that by the way he said those words (Someone nice may step into your life one day.) he is not good enough for Mew and Mew deserves someone better. I can clearly see he how precious Mew is to Ray 😢. That is one of the reasons he may not have confessed his feelings to Mew. Others may be something like.. 1. So true Ray is the one I feel so sorry for the most he needs love especially after we found out about his mum (we still don’t know much about his dad), but I think he feels like he doesn’t deserve to be loved. I also think you are right he doesn’t want to mess up his friendship with Mew. I think he goes with sand for 2 reasons 1, he wants to get some lol and 2, he can see that Sand will take care of him because that’s what he has been doing even before them became ‘friends’ but he may not think it will be any more that sex and Sand taking care of him a bit at this point he is not thinking Sand will fall for him or vice versa. Neo is the MVP of the show so far and not just for all the mans he be d**king down, but he is showing just how talented an actor he is. I don’t know who else could have played Boston so well now having seeing Neo do it.
This series is definitely living up to the "messiness" that the trailer suggested. I'm happy to see Force/Book in a racier/better series. It looks like even tho they seem to be from different backgrounds, they are also pretty equally matched when it comes to playing games. Of course First/Khau are always beautiful to see together. I love the friendship that is developing between their characters. I agree that I hope Sand can help Ray kick his habit. And who woulda thunk that Neo/Mark was the ship we didn't know we needed? I've always loved Neo in his "quirky sidekick" roles, and wanted to see him in a more substantial one. Same with Mark. That man is GORGEOUS!!! And the two of them together is almost too much to bear! (pant - pant!) Like you, I hope that Nick can eventually "corral and tame" Boston and lead to a happy ending with them. It looks like next week will be just as wild and hot as this week was. Let the messiness continue! Keep up the great work with your reactions! PS - we both laughed and gasped a lot together with this one!
The mess is messing so good and only 2 episodes in oh boy just think what we still have to come. Force and Book in this show is so good and unexpected and I keep saying this, but they have both gotten so much better with the acting and even though Top and Mew seems to be the tamer of the bunch I’m still living for what we are getting. The fact that Mew is playing games with Top has me wondering if he is as innocent as we think he is. First and Khao always give me gold they never disappoint me. The friendship between them is so good for Ray he needs someone in his life who he can maybe open up to a bit like he can’t do with his friends and not feel like he is being judged and I think Sand is perfect for that he will tell him how it is without hurting him like how his friends make him feel like a burden. Sand is already taking care of Ray we seen it from ep1 and I feel like Sand will help him feel like he doesn’t need to drink all the time. Neo and Mark said, ‘watch me’ and I haven’t been able to take me eyes off them lol. as much as I loved them with the other ships, they were in I can not get over how good they have been so far in the together they look so hot and they way they keep eye f**kin each other has me weak. I want to protect Nick so badly from Boston because I know he is going to hurt him, but I also want Nick to make Boston fall for him. I honestly hope every episode is as hot or hotter than the one before. The confessional style most likely pays homage to some queer series from the early 2000s. I thought Queer as Folk, but someone pointed out that I think there were some queer Thai movies/series as well that did it.
I was caught off guard by the confessional thing but its good it’s like we are getting to see what the characters are actually thinking. And this show is so giving late 90’s early 2000s vibes to the max I love to see it. Sex and the City had that confessional thing in season1 and 2 I think but they would interview people on the streets of NYC and ask them about whatever topic was happening in that episode it was funny, but they dropped it in the seasons going forward. I miss that style of tv sometimes and its nice to see it with a good LGBTQ+ representation.
