They make this Camera in Black and white, the one in the video is white on the front and black on the back, they also make one that is black on the front and black on the back. Hope this helps, thanks for watching the video.

I just got mine today for under $24 at Family Dollar. I don't intend to put it in a sport cam conditions but use it for up close fireworks POVs for the most part.
Yes it can, it's pretty good, you can even buy a cheap fish eye lens on ebay then take it out of the water proof case and attach the fish eye lens for exact go pro look.
I'll try to get my hands on the Vivitar action cam, thanks for the tip.

can this hook up to a go pro head mount?
Coming from a paintball player myself, you could do this, but you would need your own mask to rig it up to before you get to the field. it comes with a helmet mount already so you should be good.

You got what you pay. For the price you got medium quality picture without a image stabilizer. If you need to choose between the Emerson and the GoPro, that's easy: ask your pocket. If you got the money for the GoPro, go for it. If not, go for the Emerson. But please, don't compare a bicycle with a Ferrari. Both will take you to the same place, but with obvious differences. The same with these 2 cameras.

the Emerson is not that good but i liked your video, if you could, would you be able to make a unboxing and review on the Vivitar action cam. I have a feeling its the same exact camera.
well anyways if anyone wants a great under $100 action cam, check out the sj1000, trust me its worth more then what you pay :)
Camera can use a SD card that is no higher than class 4 or 5 rating....
You could probably put that on your paintball barrel with bike mont

I got my HD Hero 3+ Black edition for $240. It rapes this camera.
There's a reason why it's 240 and not 50 like the Emerson
just got one, too cheap to turn down at Walgreens, put on motorcycle, not too good, very wavy picture, if someway to stop vibes it cud be ok until u save enuff to get a real Go Pro. Really not worth more than 25 bucks. actually, I can arrange my Smartphone to fit on my chest by using elastic straps, works absolutely awesome, Also, this camera cannot handle low light, and ,,duh, no way darkness.
This camera would be great for kids playing Army or something like that.

They ripped off gopro videos for their advertisement
Wrong design on the bicycle mount. Or, where on the bike you mount it? Obviously mounting should be on the handlebar, were there are no obstructions ahead, but then camera locks 90 degrees to the side. If you manage to grind off a small portion of mounting screw, to allow the camera to look forward when mounting on the handlebar, the tilting adjustments is sideways, rather than front, up or down. Wrong design in my view. The base unmounts in two parts but it should be able to mount 90 degrees to either side.
I have this camera. No good for high speed outdoor recording where wind my be a factor. Ok for walking, running, bike riding at best. Tried to use it on my motorcycle. Terrible, wavy video. Put it on my windshield in my car and it worked fine. Go figure.
