@Halon's Razor It's kinda sad that they are known for only that one song. They usually sounded nothing like that song, they were a anarchist punk band. They deserve way more credit.
That's not the only Zelda boss that does it. Girahim from Skyward swords keeps coming back as well, only he does not have the courtesy to pretend he's been defeated. If you hit him enough times in a battle, he'll just tell you he doesn't have time for this and then teleport away.
The Imprisoned is a three-time repeated boss fight, also in Skyward Sword. Though idk if I’d say he “gets stronger”, since he just grows arms and wings in each fight respectively

Seriously Riku did not stay down, particularly in the later games where even Riku was getting sick of how often he came back.
True. But you also have to keep in mind that it was Xehanort's doing. If any boss has ever come back harder, better, faster, and stronger, it would be him.

From using only Yamato, to using Beowulf and Yamato, to finally using Force Edge and Yamato (his main sword is a katana called Yamato, if anyone who hasn't heard of or played a Devil May Cry game wanted to know)
I had a boss a few years ago who kept getting sick, taking off weeks (and in one case months) of time and when they came back they were better, harder and stronger. The Cyberdemon from 2016's Doom reboot after defeating him the first time by pulling out his argent accumulator causing him to shutdown he gets revived in hell for round two of the fight. Also Dracula from the Castlevania series has a multiple round boss battle with the player before he goes down for good.

You fight Vanitas several times in Ventus's route of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. I got weirdly emotional when Mike came in and put his hand on Luke's shoulder. F in the chat for the concept of physical contact between people who don't live together.
I'd put Seymour from Final Fantasy X on this list. You have to fight him 4 times, each with a more ridiculous form every time. Plus, his final battle has one of the most epic boss themes in gaming.
First I saw the chair, and was happy. Then I remembered the situation in the UK atm, and was concerned. Then I saw the description, and was relieved. (Stay safe, everyone.) Then I watched the video and was greatly entertained 😁 Then I thought about Vulcan Raven from Metal Gear Solid, who (spoiler warning) somehow comes back more powerful when he doesn’t have a tank...
How about Iudex gundyr, the dark souls 3 tutorial boss. You get to Lothric castle, most likely having killed many hard bosses, and at least three lords of cinder, only to find him hiding behind an illusory wall. And this time his eyes are red, and he kicks at Mach 2...
Now that you mentioned it, Seymour Guado has to be my favorite FFX boss, (I don't play final fantasy 10 anymore,) but man I loved the last encounter with him, it was just legit epic! Square was just made him a perfect anime antagonist, with honestly, the coolest boss battle soundtracks I've heard!
There are 3 bosses from Hollow Knight that came back harder. 1. False Knight comes back as Failed Champion 2. Soul Master comes back as Soul Tyrant 3. Broken Vessel comes back as Lost Kin
Also Crystal Guardian as Enraged Guardian. Only Crystal Guardian and Hornet really come back as stronger versions, the rest are only stronger in their dreams.
The soul master(from hollow knight) “dies” and then reappears (in the same bossfight) and uses his ability (the desolate dive’ against you again and again and later his dream boss is hard as hell (you could also use grymm or hornet or any boss with a dream variant
Bowser also came back in New Super Mario Bros WII! where after he dies, Kamek turns him into a giant death skeleton And although it's not the same in galaxy, he does get beat in Super Mario Galaxy 1, and then comes back in the second one 10 times larger. Bowser really likes to make himself grow through unnatural means

Does the Forza Horizon series’ obsession with trains count? They keep adding more jumps over the top of it each time, and the last one was in the snow! With deer in the way! At this rate we’re going to be racing a train with jet engines strapped to the top in Horizon 7!
my favourite recurring bosses personally are hornet protector/sentinel, mantis lords/sisters of battle and troupe master/nightmare king grimmfrom hollow knight. They took all the themes and gimmicks that made the first fights great and upped the ante brilliantly
All the barons in destiny 2: forsaken, you fight all 8 of them one by one in their base, each one at their weakest, but the guardian fails the mission and the barons escape. After a meeting with the spider, the guardian has to do other missions to take out the barons, which are stronger, and with new attacks, before fighting the final boss and (spoiler warning) Execute uldren sov to get revenge on the death of cayde-6
You idiot do you really think that will stop them in order to fully end your enemies you just have to follow these simple steps First: seal their soul in the afterlife Second: then destroy everything that can bring them to life this includes revival potions and artifacts Third:kill all their friends and family Fourth:pay respects to them Fifth:burn their body And finally Sixth: take their ashes and destroy them to the atomic level Also it is recommend to do this within a minute after killing them. However steps one to three can be done before killing them .
Does coming back with a friend count as "harder"? In the TMNT arcade game, Rocksteady and Bebop fight you as separate bosses, then show up as a pair a bit later.

@@leeman27534 he came back in metroid prime 3 after “dying “ at the beginning and even got a way stronger omega form.
I know this is a lost episode from the before time, but man, how I've missed that chair :'c
I was wondering if they had to all find matching chairs to put in front of their green screens and then I read the description
I got weirdly emotional when Mike came in and put his hand on Luke's shoulder. F in the chat for the concept of physical contact between people who don't live together.
I was so happy to see the chair. And people in the same space? I dimly recall...
Demyx from Kingdom Hearts 2 says he’s not a fighter, easily beaten in the underworld... but then “Silence Traitor!” Then throughly kicks your butt.
The one is Zelda actually got easier each time. Seriously hitting him with a sword while dodging the boar was the hardest fight in the game for me.
Ghirahim or imprisoned would’ve made more sense
I'd put Seymour from Final Fantasy X on this list. You have to fight him 4 times, each with a more ridiculous form every time. Plus, his final battle has one of the most epic boss themes in gaming.
Assassins creed 2. Rodrigo Borgia. You fought him 3 times and he evolved into the pope the second time with the staff to power him
then one final fight where you just beat the shit out of him with your bare hands
First I saw the chair, and was happy.
Then I remembered the situation in the UK atm, and was concerned.
Then I saw the description, and was relieved. (Stay safe, everyone.)
Then I watched the video and was greatly entertained 😁
Then I thought about Vulcan Raven from Metal Gear Solid, who (spoiler warning) somehow comes back more powerful when he doesn’t have a tank...
Hornet in hollow knight! After the first fight with her you would think that she is on your side, but yet she block's your way a second time.
Quickly emails Luke's parents about how he saved my mom in surgery at TH-cam General
“This baby having access to logging equipment...” My 16 month old son would be thrilled if it was him. Just couldn’t stop smiling after that line.
Thank you for the disclaimer about when this was shot. Glad to know you're still being safe!
Zangetsu in Bloodstained was hard the first time, when he comes back though he's incredibly tough and has 4 phases!
This was a nice surprise, and a great video as always. We're glad you found it :D
Ellen: "Dolly's been dead since 2003!"
Looks like Vincent's not the ONLY one who hasn't been paying attention to this list.
I'm suprised Seymour Guado from Final Fantasy X isn't on this list seeing as he just keeps coming back as a boss
theres always the commenter edition
Now that you mentioned it, Seymour Guado has to be my favorite FFX boss, (I don't play final fantasy 10 anymore,) but man I loved the last encounter with him, it was just legit epic! Square was just made him a perfect anime antagonist, with honestly, the coolest boss battle soundtracks I've heard!
and i hate him every single time
I was looking for this comment
THANK YOU! I was so disappointed he wasn't on it. He has like 4 different forms you have to fight. And all except for one of them are a pain
There are 3 bosses from Hollow Knight that came back harder.
1. False Knight comes back as Failed Champion
2. Soul Master comes back as Soul Tyrant
3. Broken Vessel comes back as Lost Kin
Dont forget hornet
@@treedude4246 Oh, yeah. Her too.
@@jonathanstrange4314 Yes. And Ogrim.
Also Crystal Guardian as Enraged Guardian. Only Crystal Guardian and Hornet really come back as stronger versions, the rest are only stronger in their dreams.
Don't forget nightmare grimm
The soul master(from hollow knight) “dies” and then reappears (in the same bossfight) and uses his ability (the desolate dive’ against you again and again and later his dream boss is hard as hell (you could also use grymm or hornet or any boss with a dream variant
Bowser also came back in New Super Mario Bros WII! where after he dies, Kamek turns him into a giant death skeleton
And although it's not the same in galaxy, he does get beat in Super Mario Galaxy 1, and then comes back in the second one 10 times larger.
Bowser really likes to make himself grow through unnatural means
Even when the boss dies, they might have underlings willing to die for their dead boss. "Okay he's dead, wait you're willing to die for a dead guy."
I think it's funnier when the minions the boss was fighting you alongside ragdoll to the ground with him when the boss dies.
Not going to mention Volgin from MGS3? That dude just didn't know when to quit! (Even kept going across multiple games.)
Nevermind defeated, banished or humiliated; Bowser has come back from the dead on multiple occasions.
Yeah, how else would Dry Bowser have been possible!?
Gotta admit, Bowser looks good with his mane combed to the side.
The octostamp: I’m back and so have this shiny new drip you can’t cover in ink
So this is just from the spoiler list: When I saw Sekiro I'm assuming that it's the Guardian Ape
I wanted to see the headless doodoo section.
Ah, the kind of questions that only a game from From Software can elicit:
"Where did he get a gun from inside his own grandson?!"
At least their games are good, even if they're difficult to begin with.
if it took place in america i doubt it would be too hard to find a gun.
(I mean, *I* don't have any friends with guns that I know of, but we have a serious gun problem over here....)
@@alext3431 but within the body of his own grandson? Pretty sure that's not even common here in Oklahoma.
@@thembill8246 I have definitely heard stories of people hiding guns in their. *ahem* prison pockets.
That's not something that I expect From to elicit. That's more ID or Obsidian.
The Second Sister from Jedi: Fallen Order. At least the first fight wasn’t a full fight.
That boss fight got me livid 🤣
Jenna from Astral Chain. You fight her around 4-5 times, and several of those she gets stronger. I think she deserves to be here.
I just realized that you're back in your office/studio! That's so nice, I love your guy's stuff.
Ah the beforetimes. Look, they were in the same room! Ugh, I miss that. So quaint, so innocent and free from the chaos that was about to ensue. Good times
One time I punched my dad so hard his clothes fell off. He must have really loved that outfit, he's been out shopping for a new one for 25 years.
What does he look like
Does the Forza Horizon series’ obsession with trains count? They keep adding more jumps over the top of it each time, and the last one was in the snow! With deer in the way! At this rate we’re going to be racing a train with jet engines strapped to the top in Horizon 7!
That sounds so awesome
Mundus from Devil May Cry and devil may cry 3 had that statue boss which was hard too but years later
my favourite recurring bosses personally are hornet protector/sentinel, mantis lords/sisters of battle and troupe master/nightmare king grimmfrom hollow knight. They took all the themes and gimmicks that made the first fights great and upped the ante brilliantly
Jack Baker maybe a lot of things but he's also an Evil Dead fan: Picks up a chainsaw and says "groovy!"
That wretched boss from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword that just will not stay sealed
It wasn’t even a good boss
Did anyone else expect to see Ridely from Metroid he always come back
except hes always the same (except when he came back with mechanical augmentations or as a robot)...yeah ZM ridley checks out i guess
@@Ulzorn Meta Ridley and Omega Ridley were both featured in Metroid Prime 3. Very separate boss fights too.
@@azuredragoon2054 oops, didnt know that, never played prime 3...was mostly referring to 2d versions (OG unaugmented ridley)
Ridley’s always coming back.
"Someone like me! Why does no one ever take my advice?"
Truly, he has learned well.
If what Dob does during their oxventures are any consolation, there's your reason why
Old video, but I think Sammy from BATIM deserves an honorable mention. You never really fight him, but he definitely buffs up when you see him again.
All the barons in destiny 2: forsaken, you fight all 8 of them one by one in their base, each one at their weakest, but the guardian fails the mission and the barons escape. After a meeting with the spider, the guardian has to do other missions to take out the barons, which are stronger, and with new attacks, before fighting the final boss and (spoiler warning)
Execute uldren sov to get revenge on the death of cayde-6
If I ever become a protagonist in any thing, I'm cremating my enemies.
You idiot do you really think that will stop them in order to fully end your enemies you just have to follow these simple steps
First: seal their soul in the afterlife
Second: then destroy everything that can bring them to life this includes revival potions and artifacts
Third:kill all their friends and family
Fourth:pay respects to them
Fifth:burn their body
And finally
Sixth: take their ashes and destroy them to the atomic level
Also it is recommend to do this within a minute after killing them.
However steps one to three can be done before killing them .
Does coming back with a friend count as "harder"? In the TMNT arcade game, Rocksteady and Bebop fight you as separate bosses, then show up as a pair a bit later.
"...but off he does not f@ck!" Ellen, I love your talent for cussing.
I feel like Sigma from the Mega Man X games is missing his cue here. He comes back stronger multiple times in each game, more or less.
The Magican from the House of the Dead should of been on this list.
Love that series favorite is 2
@@NAcHO-wx5vg My favorite is 4.
