This interview with one of today's foremost experts on classical architecture and interiors covers some of the remarkable spaces highlighted in Dodd's latest book, "An American Renaissance: Beaux-Arts Architecture in New York City." The author explains what makes these structures special, and elaborates on why he believes telling the stories of the people responsible for these spaces is crucial to appreciating each space.
