    Royce. It sucks you're leaving, but you made the best decision for you and your son, and I can respect that. You are one of my favorite college basketball players of all time. Good luck in the NBA. Keep the same attitude in the NBA and you'll have a great career.

    Back in high school I couldn't stand the guy because of his attitude (and also possibly because his team was #1 in our state and mine was #2). Then after high school he got in trouble for all that stuff and I hated him that much more. But after watching him play last season and seeing his rockets interview I gotta say I respect the guy. Looks like he's grown up quite a bit. Lot of people were afraid to pick him, but it's easy to see the dude is just flat out dominant. Good luck Royce

    This guy is great at grabbing boards! And his court vision is phenomonal for a big guy he's like a heavier lamar odom he can grab the boards and after he does he can spread the floor.

    I'm going to miss that guy :(
    I'm going to miss that whole 2011-2012 team :(
    There will never be another collegiate player like Royce White
    Heck there won't ever be another player like Scotty or allen either,
    but not only did they change ISU Basketball...ISU Basketball changed them as well :)

  • @smeadog2010
    @smeadog2010 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Oh yeah. That's what I meant. I'm an ISU fan, and I am really thankful. Probably best for him he wasn't around all the hype and media scrutiny during his year off. Ames is a great place for hotheads to cool down...I mean, he became the perfect face of the program from someone that was committing crimes in Minnesota. He'll be great to the team that drafts him.

  • @MRRHINO619

    if royce white gets drafted by the celtics his career will be great. KG will be a great mentor to this kid, nd the celtics could sure use someone like this.

    I wonder how the fear of flying will affect Royce and his NBA career. Although he has a terrible FT% (under 50%) he can work on that and bring it above 65%. Doc Rivers doesn't usually give rookies a lot of opportunities as they should be getting

  • @gasface88
    @gasface88 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    He doesn't have a fear of flying. He just doesn't like it. I work in the travel industry and have seen true "fear" of flying. The person is sweating and freaking out - 12 hours before the flight. Royce just gets nervous thinking about flying but then gets on the plane if needed and flies to the game. No freaking out on the plane. No sedatives. Nothing. He just gets nervous thinking about flying - like lots of people do. He flies all the time, though.

    This guy is going to be an awesome, dominant pro. He most reminds me of Charles Barkley, but check out his passing game and the size of his hands. Point guard skills at 6'8."

  • @rossdigitalfire
    @rossdigitalfire 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    The Cs would probably do with Green and White what they do with Rondo and Bradley. Seriously though, both are combo forwards and next year, summer of '13, is a big year for free agent 4s (Jefferson, Millsap, J Smith....) If the Celtics pick White then they will probably see how they both work out and then use one as trade bait to pick up one of those 4s, or keep them both on the bench as combo forwards and move one into the Pierce spot in 2014.

    i actually saw him going left on his post move and then spinning right. also a left hand scoop lay-up. if u feel comfortable with going left and spinning right then im quite sure u can attack the left side efficiently

  • @abacobeachbum
    @abacobeachbum 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great athlete with great body control. My only concern is that I don't see much video of him going to his left, and in the NBA, they're gonna make him go left.

    its gonna be hard for him as a nba player, he has top ten talent but his shit off court and the fact he has anxiety on planes and nba players practically live on planes

  • @awoodson89
    @awoodson89 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    He flew to Italy for exhibition games, he flew throughout Big XII conference play, and he flew to countless pre-draft workouts.....I really don't get why the "flying issue" is even an issue.

  • @keysersmokey
    @keysersmokey 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    How will they draft him if he has the flying anxiety though? I appreciate him being very open about it, but how will he cope with the NBA travel schedule? For example he say he was drafted by the Raptors, he could be flying to Toronto from New Orleans one night, then from Toronto to LA the next...I hope he makes it work somehow, but I think that may turn some scouts and GM's away from him...
