    My best friend would drive me home from school in his custom 2001 mustang. Lot of great memories listening to heavy metal and speeding around town.
    Few years later he gets a new car and sells it to me for only 500. Kept it in great condition. So happy to have a friend like that. And this stylish beast of a car.

    I have a 01 Mustang V6. Your absolutely right about the much cheaper insurance bill. If you need more power in the future, take the crank out of a F-150 4.2 V6 and bore your engine .30 over. That will give you 4.3 Liters of fun.

      DatCatPlayz 2003 is a great year. The years you wanna stay away from is 1999 and 2005 because they have a lot of recalls but 2003 is perfect 👌. Yes convertible is good but remember insurance is a little more money for them but not to expensive. just make sure the top is in decent shape, small tears is ok because it’s 16 years old, but if you test drive it I would take it through a car wash to see if it leaks. Any other questions just let me know 👍

    • @streetstallion
      @streetstallion  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      DatCatPlayz v8 is a lot of fun but a v8 convertible as a first car could be pricy on insurance on top of it being a convertible... that’s kinda why I’m holding on to a v6 for a bit. But it’s really up to you. But the 4.6 v8 is a great engine aswell the v6 is really good to. If anything I would look for 2000-2004 with a 5 speed. Don’t get me wrong the v8 is an amazing motor but a v8 and a convertible is a little more expensive to insure that’s all😁.

      d3 vont43 for my car I got the x-pipe. I wouldn’t recommend the MAC exhaust from American muscle. I would find a exhaust shop in the area and ask for a custom x-pipe, also these cars come with 4 catalytic converters I would delete 2 of them. If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask that’s why I’m here 😄

      Eddy Cervantea there gas mileage varies of course but usually it’s a 12 gallon tank and I usually have too fill up once a week. Nothing major. As for reliability definitely! Haven’t had one issue with it! Owned it for 3 years now

    Not being mean but why say an automatic v6 is not for power but you buy a v6 Manual which is worse because why not just by a v8 stick which is not a waste of money your not beating much in a v6 unless your put a tune or headers or racing manifolds or a super charger etc.......
