The morning Deltarune came out Adriana woke me up frantically and I remember her saying like "Toby Fox made Undertale 2" and I just like kinda turned over and thought she was fucking with me and went back to sleep.
By the end of that day we both played through the whole game and I was so amazed that not only was it a good game, but because it somehow lived up to the hype that it had to regardless of being just a first chapter.
I knew TH-cam would be completely swamped with covers by day 2 of the game coming out, but I had to do it. This song had been in my head for weeks after playing and it was such a joy to put together. Hope you enjoy my spin on it!

When I did my Undertale Medley, I recorded the whole thing less than a year after the game came out, and because of many reasons, didn't release for more than a year AFTER it was completed. I didn't want to make the same mistake with Deltarune because I really loved the music. It's such a joy to get to be able to do stuff like this on a regular basis, but to do with it with songs like this is pure bliss. Whether you're a fan of Deltarune or not, whether you are a part of the huge thriving fanbase or think it's toxic, whether you're enjoying the onslaught of Deltarune covers or think it's already over-saturated, I hope you enjoy this cover that I put a lot of love into. I love this song and hope to do more Deltarune covers after this. :)

I LOVE the intro! Awesome texture with all the layers of guitar. Something about this song makes me super nostalgic... makes me think about the old days of making covers in bedrooms!
My dad found a guitar like that in a junkyard, nearby was also a speaker. Something was wrong with it and he asked his boss to look at it since he was a music guy. His boss did something to the inside of it which only costed him like $15. The speaker worked fine except the power button sticks when pressed. It has a few scratches on the side but you could barely tell it was in the trash.
Reminds me when I'd be doing dishes in my old house while listening to this, especially during last summer... man this got me through the school year.
Now comes the onslaught of requests for the entire soundtrack. Especially with how good this cover is.

So, this came across my youtube music suggested list, I was driving amd couldn't grab my phone to see who's version this is. At this moment I have listened to quite a few versions of this song, this one made me do that and I think it's my favorite. Good stuff!

Congrats. You're actually, truly, a great composer and musician.
You see, I am very critical of re-compositions of songs I like, and while this one wasn't perfect, this was truly, wholly, chill/frisson-inducing, gorgeous and magnificent to hear. There are still better ways to embellish in my opinion, but this truly knocked my critical socks off. Of course, Im no famous or deserved critic, but I am very, VERY into embellishing songs in my head, throughout years and years after listening. And you're one of the good ones in my book.
