Haven't built any lego whatsoever in over 10 years when I was 13... I might just start buying some sets again, I remember there was something very relaxing, peaceful and rewarding about the process. Lego Star Wars specifically was the only thing I enjoyed, all the other stuff (Lego City, Harry Potter etc) weren't as exciting to me.

I own this set myself but I find the stickers on the wing mechanism and engines are a pain to apply. I had to buy a replacement sticker sheet for it.

My 6 year old son has really gotten into star wars which I'm delighted with so for Christmas we got him this x wing , the tie fighter, the 2 legged imperial walker and boba fetts ship . He adores them but they don't stand up to PLAY at all . Bits constantly fall off them and we have to rebuild and watch his little face get upset . I never realized that they are just for middle aged men to build and put on a shelf . He's not rough with them but they are not proper toys and I wouldn't buy him any more of them . It's nearly impossible to get non Lego star wars toys anymore which aren't Lego

I did the same. My first time building with technics. Legos are waaaaaaaaay more complex then they were in the 70’s 😳
This one took me a long time almost all day. I spent the most time on the part that makes the wings go up. But it was worth is because it's really cool!!!!!!
If you think that technic was hard, you should try attempting to build the lego bugatti chiron. Definitely one of the hardest lego sets I’ve ever built ngl

Im getting this set for two reasons. One, my current X-Wing is holding up, but missing a lot of pieces. Second, this one is so cheap. Like, it's only 50 dollars. That's not expensive.

Since I was a kid I wanted this setz now I'm 19 and I can finally afford this, in my country and the current economy, I'd say I'm lucky, 300 reais (Brazilian currency) is a lot of money for a toy
