    I bought one based on this review!! There was a huge display of them at target like they were taunting me so i bought one. Holy crap. it’s the most amazing thing ever. my hair looks amazing and dry in the 5 min!!

    I was researching this product and watched about 7-10 ladies do their hair with it. You are the first one to put a bump of curl in your hair the way I use my flat iron.... Thank you, I just learned something new to do with it when I purchase mine.

    Mary! I bought this for Brooklyn at Christmas (based on your top products video) and it’s been sitting in the box ever since. Last night I decided to watch this tutorial, and then tonight I used it. Amazing!! Your step by step helped a ton because I still have no clue how to do my own hair. I will be using nothing else from here on out! 💜💜

      Yay!! I truly can't live without this thing! One tip - only use on low setting. That took me about a year to figure out. Easier on the hair. It takes a bit longer, so I get a coffee and let my hair airdry a ton before I get started. So glad you like it 😁

    I’ve got this one and I’ve got short hair and I assure people it’s absolutely brilliant, once I learnt how to do things properly and effectively. And learnt tips from people on TH-cam it’s helpful. But yeah they do get hot I once accidentally rested it on my head without thinking and I burnt a bit 🙈 my own fault haha x

      It does run super hot! I hadn't used it in ages (this video was quite a few years ago) but I brought it with me back to the US when I visiting family and forgotten how well it works! I can't use on the hightest heat/air setting though. Too hot for me now...

    Hi Mary. I have a blonde bob too and used to waste time washing and blow drying my hair to make it look perfect. Then I discovered the Tymo Ring straightening (hot) brush and now I wash my hair once (occasionally twice) a week and use the Tymo to make my dry hair look perfect in 3 to 5 minutes any time! No need to keep washing and drying! It looks great and salon perfect. Although it straightens, you can build body too by applying it underneath rather than over the top and it curls my ends. Hubby is happy too as I’m ready so much faster! I would say your bob is the shortest hair it’s good for. If much shorter, it’s impossible to feed the hair through the ‘teeth’ as you can’t actually brush with it. Very easy to use though and, importantly, it has an adjustable temperature with around 5 levels. It would be perfect for your lifestyle. x

      Hi Mary. Both of my replies have been removed! I wonder if that’s because I included a link to another TH-cam video that showed the Tymo hot brush? Look for the one that has the blonde girl with a bob trying it. x

    This is great on my short hair, which is also much shorter in the back, bc it's stacked or however it's called. This is my Church day hair tool! I usually pull up on my top layers as well. I love this tool, buying a large round brush was a waste of money. Not to mention I'm just not skilled enough to blow dry my hair while using a round brush all over my hair. My hair does come out looking more voluminous than yours did, but that could be the difference of starting with wet hair vs almost dry hair. Also I possibly go over every section more, or lift up while using it in more sections. I love your hair. Found you bc I was looking up the Bold Uniq shampoo!/conditioner and saw they had your TH-cam video there. Excellent review on that, now I'm convinced I need to try it, along with their purple shampoo/conditioner/mask!

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's interesting...you start with wetter hair. I may try that to see if I get more volume. My hair's a lot longer now so I'm not much lift. Thanks for the tip! Enjoy the Bold Uniq - it's been fab for my hair 👍

      What kind of hair to do you have? I used to live in Florida - where it's pretty hot and humid - but it's many years. Best of luck!

    Thank you for this video. As it gets pretty hot, do you think the Revlon brush damages hair over time ?

    • @SkinObsessedMary
      @SkinObsessedMary  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      After years of using, I have come to that conclusion. I finally bit the bullet and bought a dryer that is heat and airflow-controlled which means I can choose a much lower heat (I use level 2 out of 5). It's the T3 Airebrush Duo. I did a recent video about it here, if you want to watch it:
      bit.ly/38aVpbi
      I can't afford a Dyson and while T3 is still super expensive (I found on sale for about €200), it was worth the investment. I use about 4 days a week and my hair is healthier for it.
      That being said, I used the Revlon for years. Many years.

    • @SkinObsessedMary

      It's absolutely perfect for that - I have the same hair. Mine's a lot longer now (which means it's even more limp) but the hair dryer works a treat. You won't be disappointed!

      I use on the lowest, which is medium air flow and apparently low heat though I think it's still pretty darn hot!

      So true! In fact I've stopped using this altogether (that video is many years old) because it was just too hot.
