We are staying there September never been there looks amazing
We've stayed at the Riu Palace seven times it's fabulous, also the Royal Hideaway LA Caleta and now we're at the Arona Gran all fab Hotels.
We are returning to Riu palace in June, it will be our 4th visit. We absolutely love it, so excited to see our favourite area. We walk for miles visiting other areas, but this is the best chill place to return to.

We love Del Duque…and the coffee shop which is part of the hotel the on the promenade there is worth a visit…
where you get a projection of land out into the sea you can get rip currents, be carefull

Was staying there a week or so ago and did not want to come home, stunning and so clean riu Arecas missing the sun big time stuck in rainy brum
We love Tenerife, been going every year since 1997 but never sit on the beach , too hot for us , rather be by the pool in our complex , plus we love walking miles , with pit stops of course , but del duque dies look a great beach every time we walk past 👍🏻

Thank you for this blog we always use to stay at the big hotel opposite that beach. Miss going on holiday so much
I grew up by the sea so I Iove the sea and the sand
We like the 5 star hotels in adeje ( GF GRAN) but only stay B&B as there are so many local restaurants to try and agree apart from the odd day by the pool , we love to get out and about , can’t just stay in the hotel 👍🏻

I stayed in the RIU hotel you walked past last year, it was lovely but, too far out for me I ended up getting the bus into Las Americas and Los Cristianos most days
Got back from adeje last week miss it so much
The statue is meant to be a former footballer who owns the castle on the hill that you pointed out

We call them stone stacks. Makka Pakka Beach. Makka Pakka is a character in the toddlers show, In The Night Garden. All young families know of it. Makka Pakka stacks stones. It is a great activity to do with kid/s. You then hope it survives until your next visit. Ours is on the high bit near sea front. Yet to spot it. 😁

Gosh great to watch this ,we came back from Tenerife on the 1 April and we’d go for a walk every morning after breakfast from las Americas either along to Los Cristianos or along to Adeje ,on a very windy day we walked right along to the castle you pointed out and back , blimey I was cream crackered but it was absolutely beautiful. Lovely to see you and your dad and hear your banter.ps loved Buddies bar we were along there twice.

I have stayed in both those of the hotels Riu palace and Riu Arricas behind both Fantastic.x
love that beach. We walked into Sceen in March and was told it was part of the hotel and did not tell us we could have a drink there so walked out. Will try again when next over.

Is it far to walk from Mercadona in Adeje? We have walked as far as Peurto Colon then it goes uphill? How much further is it as we don’t drive. Would it be easier to get the bus then walk back? Looks amazing! We haven’t walked as far as Fanabe yet either. Forget the music, peace and quiet is the way.

Where u are for a coffee with that annoying music that what it was like eating at the Villa Cortes beach bar last year . Music in the beach bar , the opposite side was 2 guys on drums then above the bar upstairs with its music not enjoyable at all 😢

That music would be off ….. such a relaxing looking area with amazing views……so no need for that noise going on, no wonder there is nobody else there….SHAME 😢 condensed milk in a sachet…NO THANK YOU ☺️ Expensive end of the town cheating you out of real produce ….. not good 😌 That noise is still doing my head in btw 😮 Garvey took the words out of my mouth 👄 gourmet with sachets, make your mind up ⬆️
