Having tiebacks for your curtains can really add something to a window. There really isn't much you can do to dress up a window other than a curtain rod.
Curtains can seem plain especially if you're using drop cloth drapes or plain white ones like I have.
Believe it or not, I was using yarn as my tiebacks for quite a while because I couldn't find anything I really liked. The DIYer I am I decided to make some curtain tie backs myself.
I'm quite obsessed with farmhouse and french country decor so anyway I can add more, I do! I feel that these curtain tie backs are a little bit farmhouse with a side of french country.
I used supplies I had on hand to make these tiebacks for curtains. The supplies you'll need are:
Wooden beads
2 mm macrame cord
Scissors
Tape
2 hooks
