Many thanks for your comment on this video! Of course, the more sewing skills, the easier it is to make this project ;) For the first time, my goal was to make it neatly.
@Kathy Stinson Oh, forgive me for this omission. The width of my curtain panel is 144". The length of a curtain tieback more depends on your preference. Gather your curtain with a tape measure at the point you want your tieback to sit, so the curtain is drawn back in the way you want it to be. You can adjust the tape measure tighter or looser depending on the look you want. This measurement will give the finished length of the tieback.
Sorry for the late response, I just saw your comment. This video is for one tieback. The tieback is 40 '' (102 cm) long plus two loops of 1,5 '' (4 cm) each.
This was amazing! Thank you, very easy to follow just made a set of tie backs and I now no longer avoid making them :)
Thank you so much for your kind words 🤗 Good luck with your sewing!
Thank you so much! I've just altered my son's curtains for his new house, and this is so much quicker than what I was going to do.
Happy to help! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
Thank you, lovely, simple tutorial. Easy to follow and was just perfect for my new curtains.
That's so lovely to hear! Thank you
excellent tutorial. just made a set of tie backs. thank you.
Thank you, that's real nice!
Would have been lovely to be able to see them in use to know how they look.
Sadly, I missed this point here 😟. Thanks for watching and comment! 🌺
Great tutorial just made some, I had to shorten some curtains and used the cut of to make these

your so professional.love your work..from Kenya
Thank you so much for watching I appreciate your support
Wow, talk about pursuit of perfection! I never baste and rarely even pin. I'd probably not even measure after cutting the fabric to size.
well done 😍🙏. 👏👏... u have a lot of patience 👍💁
Thank you so much :)
Love you work👍👍
Glad you like it and thanks for watching 🌺
What size would I need to go round a two width curtain, you don't say what size curtain these will go round.
What fabric did you used?
It's curtain fabric. If I'm not mistaken, it's called matting fabric. Fabric сomposition is 100% polyester.
very nice, but it seem like you are making this project 10 times harder than it should be.

You say 41” but don’t say what size curtain panel that is for. Pls. comment re length/width of tie back relative to curtain panel width

Is this video for 1 tieback, or a pair? and what is the finished size? Thank you

very good and neat work, however you waste time with too much pinning and that hemming before stitching. Well done.
Thanks a lot for the feedback and sound advice. You're absolutely right, I noticed it in the process and I still need to work on it.
Nonsense, how to fix is not shown, waste of time seeing the video
Waste of time watching it.
Hi, let me know what upset you so much? 🙂
Koala Sewing you made a plain strip without showing how to use it. The whole point of tie back is not only a strip.
@@ruzzholdings3317 I think it's obvious how you would use a curtain/drapery tieback?
