No, this only makes an existing stove a remote canister type. In order to use a canister upside down for colder weather, the stove burner assembly must have some type of "generator" or "fuel evaporator" tube that is over or near the burner to vaporise the liquid fuel. I am currently testing the Fire Maple Blade 2 Remote Canister Stove that has this type of "generator".
The main reason is for stability, especially with larger pots. I could use a canister stabilizer, but that would just add the the overall height of the pot off the table.
Great video, small tip. Next time, put a couple of scoops of water in the rice pack. You'll see the difference. I buy those by the box.
Simple hot meals are the best, enjoyed the video, always like the cooking videos….
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Can you use the canister inverted for cold weather??

@@BarnYardOutdoors ohhhh. Thanks for the explanation!
I really wish that pork wasn't so damn sweet. It was off-putting for me.
Rice looked good though. Thanks for the video brother
It definitely needs less sweet and more meat. I would prefer plain pork that I could season myself. Thanks for watching.
Yes! We're on the same page.
Why the adapter at all?

Damn....this is cool. Did I understand correctly though that it wouldn't really convert your Pocket Rocket into a artic weather stove?
Correct. It will NOT let you use the canister inverted for cold weather. ☹️
@@BarnYardOutdoors well that sucks. I had bought one a month ago hoping it'd work with the tank inverted for colder use.
