There should be option for either Nominee or Beneficiary or both. Law should be very clear and public-friendly. Why courts have to interfere in almost each and every case?
clear cut kuch bhi nahi rakhenge , na denge!Even if you attsch aadhar card of the nominee. bhala haath ayi murghi kon chodega! unka ghar, family disputes pe hi nibhar hai! Murkh hai wo sabhi families who keep wasting their time fighting in Courts kyuki finally toh settlement se hi raasta nikal ke aata hai.verdict milna toh naseeb ki baat hoti hai.Vakil ki fees, vakil ke attitude, judge ke badli, mental torture,tarik pe tarik, se chutkara chahiye toh settlement hi ek asra hai. chahiye aapke saath injustice ho peace of mind will prevail. Government servsnts charter bhi nahi aata, transperancy aur accoubtablity ke liye bhi kuch kaam nahi hua hai!
data analysis, verification of facts and documents bhi nahi hota. Anyone can harass anyone without submitting any original evidence in court and the matters goes on in courts without any conclusions for years together. Only previleged people( Neta abhineta and rich businessmen) get timely and effective Justice. Rest all Janata is only for tax paying and duties. privileges are only for selected few.

अगर death के बाद कोई dispute नही है तो नॉमिनी ही beneficiary हो जाता है ।।।
Death के बाद अगर कोर्ट बोले कि पैसा सरकार के IT department को देना है तो IT department beneficiary हो जाता है ।
अगर वसियत बनाई है तो नोमिनी को पैसा वसियत के हिसाब से देना होगा ।।।

What you are telling is about the "Appointee" appointed when the "Nominee" is a minor and only during his minority. When "Nominee" is a major person, he/she is entitled to receive the claim amount unless challenged by a rival claimant and prohibited by a court of law. So, as you said in the end, the beneficiaries have to establish their claim on the amount through a court of law. Also you are absolutely right about the amendment of Insurance Act in 2915 and the Will of the deceased.

He clearly showed/explained that only in case of INSURANCE policy, nominee becomes beneficiary. Thank you, Sir, for your detailed exposition of the laws regarding nomination and beneficiary. Only one thing is not clear. In case of demat a/c, the nominee is treated as the beneficiary as per SEBI RULES for on the death of the holder of the demat a/c , the nominee steps into his shoes and can operate the demat a/c as his own demat a/c after getting his name registered in the demat a/c. This is not permissible in case of bank a/c of the deceased depositors who have made a nomination. In such cases, the nominee becomes or acts like a caretaker only on behalf of the other legal heirs. But in case of demat a/c the nominee acts as the owner and is eligible to operate the demat a/c after the death of the original holder of the demat a/c.

Nominee gives valid discharge to the person (legal) for their payment.If no counter claim subsist ,then he deemed to be beneficiary.
But in case of shares ,the recent supreme court judgement by hon justice Roy and mittal ,said companies act do not override succession act.
More than one nominee only in case of lockers.

All financial institutions have to make changes to ask for the will . Will should be notarized or preferred registered. But bank should not ask whether it is probated or not. So long as Will is registered, everyone should accept it to distribute money as per the Will.
In case of no Will, person need to have certification if legal hair.
Will need to required to be probated only if there is dispute between parties.
