I was one of those completely random people who got recommended your Amazon video a while back, and I've watched every single video since then. I had completely stopped painting and doing music at at the time, and your videos helped reignite both of those passions again. I really appreciate everything you've given us all throughout the years.
I have a friend who also stopped working on music and art and went to a slightly different direction which is game development, sure enough it ended up being addiction to just gaming being surrounded with lots of toxic people and games nowadays are mostly scams and waste of time anyway, in the end all this resulted into heavy depression and mental breakdowns. Him going back to art and music was curing him again. Sometimes we watch together TH videos whenever we can and it helps me to understand his passion and life more. Also you all inspire me to do art too, it's zen. Not that much matters to me the final result, the art can be dodgy sometimes, instead the process is what matters, you learn something new + it's relaxing and hanging out. It's a great social activity to have. Something many people lose or don't even get the chance to have in the busy world.

When I found your channel I was but a mere teenager coming into adulthood, I was going through one of the worst depressive episodes I had had in a long time. I had no interest in anything anymore and I was severely jaded with everything I did. But one day I found your mural videos, watching you along your journeys getting to travel and enjoy what you do, and it was comforting to me. I eventually started to enjoy things again and even got back into creating art, and videos, and hanging out with friends. I managed to cope with my struggles by being able to find inspiration and motivation through your videos. So thanks Peter you're truly an inspiring hard-working artist, you deserve this milestone!

Congratulations! You TH-camrs don't really realize what you do do. You reach us in more ways you can't imagine. I was homeless for 2 years, disowned by family for reasons undeserved. I was suicidal and the only thing I had was my phone. I found TH-cam. I went from that pathetic person to having an income, building my credit back up, getting sober, fixing up my late mother's house for the kids, and bought a motorhome. It's so crazy, because your whole aesthetic is completely different from what I like, I like fall colors, vintage vibes, nature tones, and all things warm and old-fashioned... I was one of the ones in 2018 the algorithm was kind to! Those videos back then got me back into drawing and painting and set me on a journey to reconnect with that side of myself. Your videos have seen me through good times and bad and everything in between. Being part of the Vivid Kingdoms journey was honestly so much fun, I can’t wait to get that box in the mail. I’m a toy collector so the plush & the Martian Toys collab has been a huge highlight too. I love that you just keep things positive, you never drag on anyone, and when things are hard to work through you talk about it. out of many of your videos the past few years this one really took a a couple slices of cake. I really enjoyed the format and more serious approach to another chapter of your story and quick recap. I really do hate missing the chance to meet you a few years ago back when you had your shop in Seattle, but you were busy busy and in-between murals. This video had a lot more oomph in it for me and really kept me invested. I hope there are more like this to come. Even though I'm no longer in food service I found myself in another slump and grind, but at least it's with painting. I was another one of those people who randomly saw your Amazon video back in 2019. I was on my way home to Utah from an art conference in LA and I binged all your videos. You were the first artist I had seen that made me realize it was possible to do what I love professionally. I saw you and figured shoot.. he’s doing it so why shouldn’t I? Since then, I’ve opened an art gallery (using statix as inspiration) I’ve painted murals in multiple states, done countless gallery shows, hosted my own art conference and mural festival and just landed a dream gig doing murals for background sets of a show for Apple TV. It feels so wrong to destroy the initial painting or landscape that has drawn any kind of excitement to us as artists. But it is the feeling of shedding skin. The new phoenix emerges and a new you is born by the next best thing you create. Its only fitting that your next mural lives in your own home and I commend you for having it as your own. As artists, we sell things that are so personal because other people want it, but creating something that lives in our space is bringing us up to the reality of others who "own" a peice. Congratulations! You TH-camrs don't really realize what you do do. You reach us in more ways you can't imagine. I was homeless for 2 years, disowned by family for reasons undeserved. I was suicidal and the only thing I had was my phone. I found TH-cam. I went from that pathetic person to having an income, building my credit back up, getting sober, fixing up my late mother's house for the kids, and bought a motorhome. Now at 66 I can travel and enjoy the life I almost threw away. Thank you. You are worth it 🥰🤗🙏💚🦚🪶

I always wanted to do murals, that's how I found you, searching for someone who can give me some information on how to paint murals/walls, because I felt like everyone was gatekeeping information (I still do). I remember when you made 'how to' videos on mural making and the business of art, trying to help out people from the start (rhymed lol), and you saying, that 'You have to look and handle yourself as a business, because you have a life too.' resonated with me. I was one of the ones in 2018 the algorithm was kind to! Those videos back then got me back into drawing and painting and set me on a journey to reconnect with that side of myself. Your videos have seen me through good times and bad and everything in between. Being part of the Vivid Kingdoms journey was honestly so much fun, I can’t wait to get that box in the mail. I’m a toy collector so the plush & the Martian Toys collab has been a huge highlight too. I love that you just keep things positive, you never drag on anyone, and when things are hard to work through you talk about it. out of many of your videos the past few years this one really took a a couple slices of cake. I really enjoyed the format and more serious approach to another chapter of your story and quick recap. I really do hate missing the chance to meet you a few years ago back when you had your shop in Seattle, but you were busy busy and in-between murals. This video had a lot more oomph in it for me and really kept me invested. I hope there are more like this to come. Even though I'm no longer in food service I found myself in another slump and grind, but at least it's with painting. But it's not enough and I hope I can find the burning passion in myself to really unleash and stop holding myself back. Cheers dude. Thank you for always being creative and moving forward.

I personally think you should have put a border of tape on the original piece so it shows a little of your old work and as it progresses you would keep doing that so by the end it would look really cool with all the colors.
I was another one of those people who randomly saw your Amazon video back in 2019. I was on my way home to Utah from an art conference in LA and I binged all your videos. You were the first artist I had seen that made me realize it was possible to do what I love professionally. I saw you and figured shoot.. he’s doing it so why shouldn’t I?
Since then, I’ve opened an art gallery (using statix as inspiration) I’ve painted murals in multiple states, done countless gallery shows, hosted my own art conference and mural festival and just landed a dream gig doing murals for background sets of a show for Apple TV.
Anyone reading this, all you need to know is that it’s possible.

It feels so wrong to destroy the initial painting or landscape that has drawn any kind of excitement to us as artists. But it is the feeling of shedding skin. The new phoenix emerges and a new you is born by the next best thing you create. Its only fitting that your next mural lives in your own home and I commend you for having it as your own. As artists, we sell things that are so personal because other people want it, but creating something that lives in our space is bringing us up to the reality of others who "own" a peice.
