Of all the upgrades I have done to my Vantage, the twin plate clutch was the one that gave the most notable difference. The other upgrades I've had done include 400 cell cats, GT4 air filters with air box delete, remap, Vantage Engineering suspension upgrade, Aston Installations Apple car play/Android Auto install with front & rear cameras & HD screen, carbon parts include wing mirror caps, front grill, front splitter, rear spolier and rear diffuser, slam panel.
The only other item i want to address are the stock 19" wheels, as much as I like them I dont like the off set in them and want address this in the futue, so Richard what are the wheels you have fitted to the blue CTR Vantage?

I think you need your door modules looking at...the window did not drop on opening and raise on closing...
Good enlightening aspect on the twin plate...plus builders doing careless work!!!

It was good to see what the twin plate is like and I can imagine the feel due to owning 3 GC8’s. I remember being back on the P1 forum back in the day when I had mine and there were quite a few test driving the Vantage.
Bad luck with that puncture though but good it was spotted. I like you left that in, we’ve all been there and it’s always a pain.

Sorry to see this end so abruptly but as you said, great save by your colleague as that could’ve been far worse. I’m increasingly concerned at how interested I’m getting in your conversions, I fear an expensive purchase at some point! You’ve distracted me from considering an early R8 (V10) purchase with your Aston upgrades! Cheers, Kevin.

I have the original clutch fly wheel on my 4.3. Used as an every day car no issues. Infact it was driven down to the south of france. Absolute pleasure. For me. I couldn’t justify the upgrade. Maybe good for track days. I also enjoy the real driving style of the original clutch. The sports car feel.

Thanks Oliver, I have kept the original clutch on my 4.3 and 4.7s. I lightened the car so much that I have not had a problem so far with original.

I changed out the original weighty exhaust muffler for a light weight sports exhaust. Not that I would notice any change in performance. But sounds beautiful. Radio. What radio.

For me when I first purchased the Vantage. On the first test drive I didn’t instantly feel that there was an issue with the clutch. I was driving a Porsche at the time. I just got in a drove it. I simply loved the feel of the steering. And having to use those revs was great fun. So. Change clutch no point.

If anything I use the cash to replace any parts it needs. Mileage might be high. But component wise it’s like a new car. Ha. Aston service Dorset. Anthony. Looks after it. First class team. Good lads. Diagnose correctly. Not dealership let’s throw parts at it and charge you a mortgage.

Thank you, I was thinking that the other day, I had to give the twinplate car back to the owner. I will do a run on 4.3 normal clutch and 4.7 normal clutch as I have them both here.

Not sure why you'd upload this video in its current state rather than just record the 2nd part another day. That would have looked more professional.
