It was almost 2 years ago. I was a beginner runner. One of my first long runs and I was listening to Spotify Heavy Metal running playlist, on 160 steps/min. This came up. Man I was about to scream because of the adrenaline rush.
Christopher Bass Mmm... I said sad songs, not bad songs. Their worst albums for me are Silence and Winterheart's Guild, along with half of Stones. I love Ecliptica, but its songs' lyrics are definitely not uplifting by any means. I like Unia and my favourite is Days of Grays. Years and years of rage, tragedy, and depression expressed in great songs. Tony seems to have had a change of heart in this album and decided to write about silly or just plain happy stuff in 3 or 4 tracks. And Wolves Die Young even has a "happy" ending! That consistent exploration of positive things, more in a single album than in their entire career, is definitely new.
This is where it starts. You first listen to Sonata Arctica then you start searching for Helloween, Luca Turilli, Alex who looks like Weird Al but Metal.. then you got to Blond Beard Man from Nightwish and then you go to .. Edguy and Avantasia.. then... you go beyond to crazy metal bands.
Oh god Tony loves the camera and you know it :3 I've been to some of their concerts in the Netherlands and Wacken, and he's always giving the camera so much love ^_^
Literally reminds me of an old school Rainbow song. Obviously it's not exact or anything, but it draws influence from Dio's lyrical structure and Blackmore's phrasing. Tony even mentions Rainbow in the lyrics.
They actually played a show on my birthday (last night). Didn't find out about it 'til two hours before and didn't have a car with which to get across town to the venue, but I still got there in time.
I can walk literally endless distances effortlessly at any vigor necessary. People trying to run is the damn problem to begin with you've gotta lift with your legs, like always, all-day-every-day.
Hello, I would love that you ask before using my pictures, especially since you cut out my watermarks :/ And please list my name and website as credit if you do so. Have a nice day!
Hello, I am sorry for not contacting you, I got all the images simply using Google and could not find a way to contact áll the people who made them yet. However, I did nót crop, cut or adjust them in any way. I got these the way they are in the video, I did not cut out watermarks. I am still in the works of making a list of people who made the pictures (those I could retrace to the source). Do you want me to remove the pictures, or would it be okay if I just name you and your website in the list? :)
0Black0Sun0 Well It's quite easy to get a hold of me, my full name (and web address on the newer ones) are in the watermark, so it can't really be that hard to ask beforehand. My webaddress leads to my facebook and there you find everything from my e-mail to my phonenumber. :) As a photographer I put down a lot of work and travel the world to take those pictures. So it would be nice to mention since I really don't mind if people use my photos but only if you ask for it first :) You are very welcome to use my pictures but the way the images slide in the video only makes some parts vissible of the watermarks, so people really can't see either the webaddress or my name. So I would like it if you added time references to all the pictures (about 10 or something) you have used that are mine and add my name and webaddress please. :) // Kristian Heat Reuter / www.ReuterMP.com
josh moser Hello Josh. Well, since hé is the one who took some of these really awesome pictures, he has a say about using them. It was my error that I did not contact him beforehand. Never underestimate how hard it is to be a good photographer, let alone a concert photographer. :)

I really love this song. Today I ran my first Half Marathon and this song really helped me to make me do it
After years and years of mostly sad songs, this album has some pretty uplifting stuff. Congrats, Tony!
Julia Linne Well no shit, their source material was really pathetic for a long time. But never quits

@@Nonskiller Yeah. You know you've reached the deep end when you listen to Gloryhammer, Alestorm and Powerwolf regularly.
This is what is so special about Sonata there are no common power metal bnd but something more than that
it's because each album is unique and interesting with a new style in it!
A sonata song, that's in a major key? Mind blown.
Meh, most of it is F# Minor.
This songs makes me happy
