I have always loved your views on parenting and today I was nodding all along when you talked about why it is absolutely normal for your husband to be not on your videos.

Hello Anu. Congratulations on your new job. This video is good. But This is just my opinion. Your advice on in laws is good only if you are away from them or visiting them once in a while. Girls staying with in laws specially manipulative ones would require different set of skill sets to handle them. They would crush you otherwise. In our culture, most of us are taught to be silent whatever they say. When husbands are supportive of their wives, they would be turned as joru ka gulam.
You have just talked about in laws who are really nice. I feel either such things are lie or that person has to be the luckiest in the world. 90% of the cases are not so happy. Respect should come from both sides. Just not from girls side. Because no one is nobody’s slave. Please make a video on how to handle exploitative in laws.. 🙏🏼

Hi Anu, WOW! What a video...but firstly a big CONGRATULATIONS on your decision. I am sure you will do it well. Impediments will come and go, difficulties will happen, some days will tear you apart as your husband keeps traveling on work but do not worry it will work out. Now that your elder one is a little grown up, he can support the younger one wherever you need to fill in. Take care. I completely agree that a household cannot function if you say equality beyond an extent. There are at times you do work more and times where he does more. A family has to function together. And how awesome when you said you are not getting angry when he doesn't do things your way. It took me a long time too to figure this out but I working on it. You have to let go and appreciate. I have always seen nobody has motivation to help when you want things just your way. Your family falls apart. Such a heartfelt conversation Anu... Yeah Baat aapne bilkul sahi kahi, Har insaan ka kaam karne ka tarika alag hota hain, even aapke parents ka tarika alag hain kuch cheejon me aur aapka alag. Sabko apna space dena jarrori hain, saath saath khud ka space bhi rakhna hi hain. Har cheej me toka taki hogi to baat bigdegi hi.

I have asked you many questions in the past but somehow they are missed from getting addressed during your Q&A sessions.
I wanted to ask -
A)how did you manage pregnancy with a toddler? Did you do it all alone since your husband had traveling job. Did family come to help during final trimester and first few months of the 2 nd baby?
B)now that you are working ( I am assuming you will be out of home for at least 10-11 hrs including 1 hr travel each way and 8-9 hrs at work) how do you plan to manage your kid’s schedule who are in preschools which are usually only for 3 hrs ( please help as this is a big confusion I am facing)
C) you and your way of managing family really looks perfect and even though you say it’s not it still hard to believe. So can you share some tid bits when things went wrong ( toddler tantrums or whatever) - some stories which we can relate to.
D) driving tips as I am struggling to get over my hesitation about driving here. High sped traffic scares me a lot.

Rightly said. Once a mother, always a mother. We tend to take care of everyone including our partners all the more because a mother in us is born a long with our little one. And it is perfectly ok to share household chores and it's natural to feel lazy some days. We are human and not robot to work mechanically. Life is different for all. If we know our sole purpose of existence then nothing can come in way of progress.
