Mod authur of Seeker of Fire here. Thank you so much for the showcase. I had a blast watching this. As a hardcore ds2 fan, I poured so much into this project over the years. I'm glad I ended this project on a high note with the best of features from this mod.

6:24 my man really put a chest with a full armor set, one that was super hard to get in DS2, in front of a picture of Gwynevere. Truly, a great chest ahead.
4:11 The Painting Guardians are not in the game. However there is a hostile NPC that wears their clothes and uses their weapon. She is behind a painting in Aldia's Keep if the area is in NG+ or higher.
It's the only NPC in the game from which the player can farm the Painting Guardian set & weapon.
Also, it does NOT respawn, existing only once per game cycle, meaning that if you want to farm and have bad luck you'll need A LOT of bonefire ascetics and the area level will reach difficulty cap pretty darn fast compared to the rest of the game.
Which, in my personal opinion, was a terrible dick move from the developers as the set itself is both top fashon and a massive trigger for my collector tendencies.

@@vaskopoh9512 Isn't that one scattered across the DLC in various chests? I remember that being the case for the helm, but honestly I cannot really remember.
@@lucapiemonti9767 Oh, I may have forgotten about that one but originally you had to farm an npc in forest of fallen giants with an obscenely low drop rate.
Was the same with the Aurorus armor but softs added that one in a chest
@@lucapiemonti9767that does sound terrible. Guess I'm lucky in that I don't think it's a good looking set at all. I should do a 100% collection run though. That's an idea.

if u use any whip on the weird tree(which gives the dried root), it will fix weapons u have. it was in the origin ds2 dlc

I accidentally walked into the cheat room on my playthrough as well. Love this mod. A lot of mods like ds3/er convergence sort of go overboard, but this one still feels like ds2. Love how you have to explore parts of the level you normally would ignore, like finding the key to the cardinal tower bonfire.

the weird alive tree dudes from the sunken crown dlc repair your gear when you whip them usually, not sure about in this mod though.
also i think the giant bug you killed passively cures poison when you stand near it.

1:03:00 - this big boar is actually in base DS2-Sotfs! I found him myself without a guide, by clearing out the tiny Majula pigs, sitting at the bonfire, and repeat. Eventually 2 medium-size ones show up, and then after those ones are all gone, this big guy shows up! Bonfire Acetics do not bring him back, either.
It's really not worth it, since all 3 types of pig, in Majula, only drop Red Eye Orbs. But seeing the big guy the first time was SUCH a rush, man

Great video!! Idk about controller but with the keyboard you can jump on the spot if you just press the key associated with it. Also wellager at drangleic castle sells brightbugs with no limit and for like 6k
Another thing, In ornifex's area in tseldora you can reach a door that teleports your to the blizzard area where you fight Loyce Knight Loyd and the wolf, can rush flynn's ring like that

Love the videos man, i like the fact how they changed Majula a bit, The mods make the souls games better imo like the ds3 Convergence mod, kinda regret getting a PS5 instead of a PC

@@YazzmaniaYea, if i had my PS5 online to sell then i probably would've gotten a PC but i have lots of progress and friends on there of course so i definitely can't sell it, so i'd probably have one in like a year or 2, when i save up enough money or with my parents help ofc, i heard the ones in walmart were good.

Nice, was hoping to see this eventually. Sadly this is the only really big mod for DS2, but if you want to try some mods for the other SoulsBorne games here's my recommendations if you want an experience similar to Seeker of Fire 2.0;
For DS1, that's "Daughters of Ash". The biggest mod for DS1, and for a while the biggest mod for any of the games. Re-Works exploration, bosses, and even the story pretty heavily. Adds a lot of new quests and content. Has 2 of the coolest fights in the series including the actual official games accessed via the alternate DLC route.
For DS3, that's "The Convergence Mod". While DS3 has quite a few really big mods like Cinders and Champion's Ashes, Convergence is the one that best balances Polish with New Content. Tons of new Spells, but plenty of new Weapons, new Bosses, Re-Worked Bosses, different World Progression. Definitely worth a playthrough.

the powerstance attack comes from dual eielding warped swords i think but it's better even if it doesn't do more damage since it splits the attack in 2 complimenting bleed, poison and stagger so it's more than just cool haha

so i have a suggestion for you to do the broken straight sword run
the damage is ass and early game would not be great but extremely low stamina usage and fast swing speed while dual wielding should make it possible to atleast make it to nashandra. dunno about how it will handle dlc's but i'll be very intrigued to see it out!

Í got a mod named "Ascension Mod" it makes the game EXTREMELY hard
(The first enemy is the pursuer) like this mod it changes ALL the clases and something cool is that every weapon haves a hability like Drangleic Sword when you attack it spawn a fog (The bosses have around 500k healt or more) thats why all weapons can do 1k dmg mininum. Sorry for bad english im spanish but that doesn't stop me for watching the BEST youtube ever. I hope you get 1M subs i love u ❤;D!
You can obtain the soul of alsanna by talking to her while having at least 50 loyce souls in the base game. Great video as always by the way!
