Another great explanation and call to action, Darren. I'm not sure why I didn't ask this earlier, but what is the reason to go from Matthew to Hebrews and then Romans? I understand the reason to hit one Gospel as the others are similar enough to spread them out a bit, but why Hebrews next, and why go to Romans? In Old Testament times, after the sprinkling of the sacrificed animal's blood, was everything physically cleansed with water or whatever until the next sacrificed? Just curious.🙋♀️
7:05 - People of Israel and their High Priest did not enter the presence of God. The Tent was still a shadow. Plus, the cloud that came down from Heaven and the incense that fill the Holy of Holies did not "disclosure" His presence. The presence of God, of the old covenant, was a sign and a symbol. A Christian's access to the presence of God is one in, and of, the Heavenlies: Far greater, far divine and without comparison.
