Amen this is what I like to hear everyone come together as one to build God's kingdom. This is exactly what I have been praying about everyday that we are to come together as one. That God didn't call us to separate but to come together as one. Thank you God.
I Agree with you, I think what your guys are doing is great! I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, and I see fighting all around, I think it's sad that people that fight with each other doesn't know God! God has blessed me in so many ways. I am thankful when I see people like you doing good in this world, thank you so much for sharing your testimony with us! 😀😃
I love following your channel. Short vedioes on a whole chapter that I can do because being disciplined and motivated to read the Bible and study the Bible is so hard for me. But you guys make it much easier and less overwhelming
So encouraging!! There’s a movement in South Florida called Church United- to connect churches and leaders, collaborate in ministry and celebrate what God is doing. It’s no longer Us vs. Them. It’s what can WE do together to make Broward County the best place to live and work. This is Philippians 2 in action! Unity through humility.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11
hi everyone..uninty' is beautiful, if all the church could work together, for jesus..let him know that whatever going on in the world today..we can come together..in one body in church just to help others..even though church lives in us...we must put our deffernces on hold..and show love to everyone..it can be done with prayer..Amen
What a great observation, Darren. I was recently (at the Easter Vigil last Saturday) confirmed in the Catholic Church after having grown up, baptized and worshiped in the First Baptist Church over the last 40 years. This is the short story to a much longer one. What I did want to point out was the understanding I developed going through the RCIA (Right of Christian Initiation for Adults) program - an understanding of not only the Catholic faith, but a deeper understanding of my own faith and a deeper relationship with God in the process. Do I agree with everything? Not really. Not yet. Maybe not ever. But, despite the differences I may have with the "beliefs/ traditions" the Catholic Church practices and what I have known to be true in my relationship with God up to now, I still feel very close to the people in the Catholic Church and the mission God has called us all to do. All of us. All Christians. My biggest transformation through this process is exactly what you said. We have far more things we believe together than beliefs we may practice separately. Rather than focus on the differences as negative, we should focus on what we share in common to accomplish the goal of introducing more people in to a closer relationship with God. It's important to understand what those differences are and respect them. But, at the end of the day, I believe that those differences are not game changers in the goal of everlasting life with, and unconditional love from, God. Thanks again, Chris
This was the first thing I noticed about your churches! I was kinda shocked by the effortless way you guys worked together! I've noticed a more collaborative nature in churches these days. The church I went to in Ohio would regularly work with the other chruches in the community. It's a great way for the community to see the loving nature God Church truly has.
Wow, unification of churches is in my heart, kingdom collaboration is God's heart, we are ONE body. Please share how do we go about it, am just a sunday school teacher volunteer.
Father it is the last days You did say You Will Pour Out Your Spirit On All Flesh Remove the veil of darkness that may hinder them Ooo Father do these baptist boys as You did for me @ You Know
I have a question. In Philippians 2:7, it states, Instead of this, of his own free will he gave up all he had and took the nature of servent. Doesn't that mean taking the characteristics of a servant and not being a servant himself?
We will never be fully resigned to the will of our Father if we are troubled by human opinions of us, or if we make for ourselves (i/me monkey)an idol of what people say. One of the healthiest things we can do in order to learn to walk in the inward way (secret place of our hearts with the Father) and lose ourselves i/me monkey is to look upon reason and "sound logic" as something that is created. The most reasonable conduct we can perform is to discard a great deal of our reasonings. Believe our Fathers pure unadulterated Word alone. Molonios
Many English translations do not include that final section of the verse that is found in the KJV. This is because some ancient manuscripts of the original language do not have it. There are a small number of places in the English Bible that are debated as to whether they were in the original Greek and Hebrew texts that we recognize as inspired. None of these small sections alter the actual important meaning, so while good to know, it's not a huge concern.
Great devotional thought. However, respectfully, I’m very confused. How is creating a new church where other churches are and meeting in an existing church unity? Why wouldn’t you guys just combine with them instead of separating yourself? I find this a very common theme among pastors these days is the cool thing to do is go create your own church plant right among many other churches. I don’t know your case, but around here it seems to be a disguised ego move for pastors. Please don’t take this as me attacking you, I would just love your thoughts/comments as it pertains to your situation so it helps me understand.
I’m concerned. You’re talking about the kingdom . I hope you don’t think that we are already in the kingdom. The kingdom is the millennial reign in the future. The believer who talk kingdom talk worry me the basic doctrine is incorrect. I love your want to work together and we are called to. Yes. Wonderful work. But just checking your doctrine is sound. Thanks again. Great bible study

Going to re-read chapters 6-11 on my lunch break today. This was encouraging and makes me excited to work together!
Loved your story of unity, churches working together. And (of course) unity is part of Jesus's prayer in John 17. Keep up the good work!
Amen. Thank you.
God Bless You!
