I’m gonna try with the nitrado server. I have the mods installed and loaded my game through this single player action I saw someone else do and everytime I play it crashes the game and I get a PBO error I think it is. Someone said it’s an update thing but from what I can see there’s no update needed. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Make sure when adding mods to the mod list you add Community Online Tools at the end. For example: @CF;@otherMods;@Namalsk Island;@CommunityOnlineTools
@@hepskie I have it this way, "-mod=@Namalsk Island;@Namalsk Survival;@CF;@ZomBerry Admin Tools;@Community-Online-Tools" server runs fine and all, but esp doesnt work, or the ability to click on items/objects when in freecam. Something is wrong :(
@@farbrorjosn Put CF first in the list. Esp tools is tricky to use. You need to tick which items you want to see (rifles, pistols etc) and then select how far away you want to see them and after all that you should push the show esp button
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU i have been running into issues where i have downloaded everything correctly, only thing that was causing me issues was changing the admin file from everyone to admin. NOBODY else showed that.
Did follow your instruction carefully but after all once in game its shows the menu is toggled off no matter what I press - insert, Y etc. You have a thumb up from me for going in to the details nicely. But it would be even more nice to cover some common issues that people may have is well.
Hello. I'm using a GTX server running Namalsk. When I look in the config folder, the only file is config.vdf. I've restarted many, many times but still only the one file. Any ideas?
It's all in the video dude! Follow it slowly and precisely. The only extra thing I can do to help now would be physically doing it for you...but its way better to learn yourself. Make sure you stop the server before changing the file to admin and saving.
I show two ways to get the GUID in the video. The easiest way is to make sure the server is stopped, follow my instructions to install the mod, start the server, again stop the server and then look for you guid file in the players folder. Change 'everyone' to 'admin' in that file and that's job done.

You've done something wrong at 3:41 - 6:04. Likely the server was running when you tried to change it to admin and you didn't include the quotation marks "admin" like that.

nice. Been trying to follow this, but got stuck at the permissionsframework folder Do you know how can i access that folder on a local pc? i'm trying this on my home server. Also, i don't understand if that json file inside the "players" folder must have the "roles" changed to "admin" to work? would it work anyway without changing it, but for everyone instead?
So the permissions framework folder is in your config folder, which for a regular server is called you 'profiles' folder. That only appears once you started and stopped the server when it's successfully installed. The Players folder will have the guid of any player that joins the server, hence the need to join and leave. You change it to admin for just your guid address. It's usually the only one in there, especially for a local server.
A little old of a video but instructions are well done, when I pay attention. I ended up doing twice as the first time I thought I messed up as I heard you as saying N and not END. I only installed on a Expansion Server and there are a few things different. Such as can not do the snow thing that you showed but it looks like all the core functions are there with a few annoying little bugs.
Expansion is a bit different as they customise a few things. The default keys change and there are more options to configure. I'm glad you got it working though!

That suggests that the mod either hasn't been put in the server, you haven't done the key or haven't added the name to the list of mods...double check these three things.

Go back through the video and make sure you've done everything. It only shows up when the mod is installed and you've restarted the server. Also make sure you restart WINSCP too.

It might be possible to set its position and rotation with ESP Tools (which is included in Community Online Tools) but you'll need to know the coordinates and rotation that you want it. Haven't tried this myself but should work in theory.

If you don't have a community online tools section in your in-game controls/key bindings then the mod hasn't been installed correctly. If that is the case then go back over the video again, but slowwwerrrr. :)
Hey Hepskie. Thanks heaps for this. Unfortunately I am encountering a number of errors when trying to do this. I've found that my server is constantly resetting every few minutes and it won't show up on the server list at all. Any suggestions as to what may be causing it?
@@hepskie well, initially, it was the same as what you've put in the video. I managed to get it working until I changed the server name.. no restarts now, but no show on server list. Then it's happened again while trying to install the dayz expansion bundle and Dabs framework. Server starts fine, no apparent errors, but constant reset and no show on server list.
@@melekharn7943 make sure you've added all the keys! That often causes that problem. Dayz Expansion can be a bit of a nightmare to install. When it updates they are very large files as well so it takes ages!

@@melekharn7943 there are a few tutorials on how to install expansion...but because it's changed so much the process is quite different to a lot of videos. I think ScalespeedGaming's most recent tutorial might be up to date if you really want Expansion. I'd recommend avoiding it personally.

Im using a LAN server as a test server but when i try and install the mods the loading screen says im playing a modded version but my COT and CF won't show up
@@hepskie Yeah LAN Server with a batch file to start it with CF and COT in the batch files and I have the key added to the key files for them. ( Edit I do have a Nitrado server but it is un-modded and down, I would like to get the test server working before fucking with the main server. I have the mods added in my .Bat as "mods=@cf;@Community-Online-Tools;")
@@UltraMaga45 make sure the wording for the mods is exactly the same in your .bat as it is in the folders in your server root other wise they won't connect. Capital letters too. Also, I can't remember if .bat servers need the extra semi colon at the end of the last mod or not....Worth trying both. It might be picking up the first mod and not the last because of this. Let me know if it helps! :)

@@MikeJF355 that's a very kind gesture, but the whole point of me making videos was to save time not having to explaining things to others. I'd end up spending the entire time online at my pc helping others which was knackering...so figured I'd make nonprofit videos (hence no adverts) to help people without taking up my time. Super busy real life. If there's something specific you'd like me to make a clear instruction video on then that might be an option if enough people ask for it. Traders I think will be next when I get a few free hours.
@@hepskie I appreciate what you are saying, I have a couple of companies and am trying to set this up in the middle of the night. If you get the time to do The Trader set up that would be brilliant. There are some other videos on here but they seem to have a slightly different version of Nitrado to me so some of the files/setting are different. Your video worked for me because they appear to be the same. My problem with the Zomberry app is where to put the admin.cfg file so that it is read correctly upon start up. It's a rented server so I don't have access to the main start up files. Other videos are saying put the file in a sub Zomberry folder and label as Server Profiles? I have made such a file within the dayzstandalone file, I've also put one inside the Zomberry file and others all over the place!! It still states upon start up that the Zomberry files are server side but admin is not recognised . In the admin.cfg file I just have my number. Also is there any conflict with Community Tools similar admin tools as I have these running. One last thing, when I spawn say a Hummer in and try and put a wheel etc on to it it sinks into the ground. On a previous post you mentioned that this is caused by the center point of the item and that you can adjust it via ESP tools, how do you do that as there doesn't seem to be any adjustment facility in there. So that means the mod is installed correctly but you didn't make your ID admin. Make sure you stop the server before you do the changes

I think the config folder for gtx servers is called something different. Maybe two capital letters?

You need to have made yourself admin for it to be turned on. You can find the controls in key bindings in dayz settings in-game.

When I try spawning in Buildings they spawn half ways in the ground, Why?
Because the spawn point of the item is set to it's center for some reason.
You can use ESP tools to change its height though!

Look in key bindings under community online tools (COT) and it should tell you. (In-game)

@@MikeJF355 so I think one thing that should solve the issue here for you is that with all nitrado servers this: config folder=server profiles folder.
