This really brings back memories. Back in the late 60's, I worked for a pipeline company. I operated a D7 Cat and my step father operated a 583 side boom. We ran 36" pipe. Just love seeing the side boom and the counterweights. Thanks for the memories.
Hat's off to you for being an excellent operator, I'm sure of the old hats will agree too. Safety is paramount not only for the operator, but more importantly the guy's working around machines like this. You showed an eagles eye's to attention to detail ,watching where the load is going and you seem to have your hands extremely busy. Well done Lad, from an old operator.Don't suppose you could make more videos ,they are very interesting and the sound is great.
