For those asking about the cockpit mod and sound mod, I have it all in the description. Hope you guys are liking the video. I slaved away at it for a few weeks here and there. What would you like to see next?
As a joking response, could you sit by a fire and read us an entire aircraft manual? It’d be good learning, and perfect for going to bed with that damn fine voice. In seriousness, perhaps some other reviews/gameplay of other games you have interest in and find yourself coming back to.
Nice video man`,) btw rockets impact point computer requires pitch down 45 to 30 degrees minimum to work correctly. Less angle than that is not allowed for soviet pilots `,)
When you're taking off from the Carrier, there is a "Special Afterburner Mode" (only the SU-33 has this option), which according to the manual, it will boost your take off with an extra 5-ish% thrust over of the maximum Afterburner. You must hold the "Wheel Brake Start" button (it's not the same as the normal "Wheel Brake On" with W, it's a stronger brake that's able to hold you in place even in lower Afterburner stages), throttle full afterburner and when you see the two green AB lights near the RPM go on, press that Special Afterburner button and a third green light will turn on in the panel below the Engine Exhaust Temperature gauges. Also, after you've got your engines on and ready to go, pressing L_Alt + i will toggle the engine intake fences between Auto and Down. The manual says this also gives you some minor thrust boost, although I have NO IDEA how so... 🤔 I just use it anyways, just in case... 😁 When the fences are up, you should see the green lights on the Gear, Flaps, Hook and Speedbrake indicator. Usually, when I take off from the carrier, I defuel the aircraft to 50% (this should be enough to take off from the forward positions without problem), get my usual payload, and the first thing I do when I'm airborne is to go for the tanker (assuming there is one available, and it's not flying over enemy territory 🙄) and get my fuel back to start the mission.
The intake fence being down gives more uninterrupted airflow, even though its a tiny amount, its that couple percent efficiency you may need for the extra thrust. Its a super common problem with drones and any kind of guarding around the props, or grilles over EDF intakes. A clever solution, though obviously its one more mechanical part to maintain over a static mesh grille or "fence"
@@inquisitivetelevisionsales2761 yeah, at least you have that They say we have a plane that switches air alert on the whole urkaine just by taking off. And they say it can target ships too... Wanna continue the pp measure competition?

i like how the carrier casually gave you'r jet a slap on the rear for good luck. if the previous takeoff has any implications added to the meaning of it, i could understand why.
After having flown the SU33 myself, I can say with confidence Ralfi, that the SU33 doesn't get enough love. That ACS mode's also a mean thing to contend with when you don't expect it.
In case you haven't had the revelation yet, the reason your first rocket attack missed the CCIP completly. It uses radar alt for the range trigonometry and you were flying over terrain a fair bit higher than your target.
I mean, we know, normally western radar equipped CCIP jets use their actual radar for ranging, not sure how the Russian jets actually do it, but in-game they do it poorly.
It does not. It uses laser ranging. However it won’t correct for wind, which at longer ranges can really make it off In reality of FF, you would be able to correct for wind with a specific maneuver after lazing the target Watching it closely, the range is off way more then would be possible with even triangulation. I would be perhaps the cockpit mod might be messing with it, or the IRST/laser is disabled for some reason
Brilliant video Ralfi, I stayed to the end. Those last minutes, low on fuel and running from those hostiles, that was tense. Perfect fuel planning. Back in ye olde days of Lock On MAC, I preferred the Su-33 Flanker D over the Su-27 Flanker B. I don't know why, but I flew the 33 quite a bit and I hardly touched the 27.

The finale was incredible and proves how some trust can make any wings viable. You struggled to get airborn, went into mission barely knowing what you were doing, got intercepted on your way back but made it home with almost no fuel left, all in one piece.
7:54 Could be you're within the minimum range. With radar-guided systems, if you're within a minimum range, they just can't fire at you. Leading to the hilarity that an S-400 could probably blow you out of the sky at 20 miles while you're flying within the tree-tops yet it wouldn't be able to engage you if you were doing circles literally right above it.
If that can help, do not activate the intakes grids on the PA, and as soon as the burners kick in, activate immediatly the special burner, then release the brakes.
