I can't say enough about the great service that Alice and her team at Indigo Realty provide. My wife owns a small house in Hang Dong that we've rarely used in recent years so we've been renting it out. The last tenant left 4 months ago and our agent was not doing much to find us a new tenant. We contacted Alice having learned about her on this channel. She gave us great advice on improvements to make the house more attractive to renters and in 2 day found us a new tenant who was willing to pay 50% more than the previous (COVID-era) rate. Alice did a fantastic job as intermediary between the new tenant and my wife negotiating terms and conditions.
Another great condo video Tony! Couple of thoughts I had: for drying clothes, they do have washer/dryers in one unit now (in Thailand). I think the Samsung Washer in the 3rd or 4th Condo with the fixed kitchen table island was a washer/dryer combo. Also, I heard that some expats just drop off clothes at a laundry service that delivers the clean clothes when done. Anyway, just some thoughts. Thank you again for the good info!!
I recently stayed in a condo that had a combination washer-dryer. The dryer left some things damp, like items with heavier fabric. Still beats having ones clothes drying in public and taking up precious space on the tiny condo balconies.
IMO those condos are absolutely insane. More akin to Phuket than to Chiang Mai. I can't imagine anyone looking at those and thinking "yes, that's where I want to live" - but each to their own I suppose. Maybe if you have no wife, no kids, no pets and enjoy being able to stretch and touch opposite walls then dai, di mahk, but in reality who wants to live like that?
The one bed condo near the end is £66,000 which is less than a parking space in London. As for stretching to touch the wall. Luckily I’m now over 6ft 5 and aiming to lay on the floor and see if I can stretch and touch between the opposite walls. The ceilings are too high to touch so that’s out the question unless I get a chair out. Joking aside, I think the condos are very nice and the developer is the same as the Astra Sky river which looks gorgeous inside and out. Once the transport system improves in Chiang Mai (a long way in the future I know) This 66k might be a good inheritance for my son
Can someone tell me... why in Thailand they still place AC compressor units facing INSIDE (the balcony area)! One won't be able to enjoy even that tiny balcony space without hot air blowing right into his face. Complete stupidity!
Tony, thanks for the condo presentations. Alice, always represents high quality properties. 🙏🏻
Rob!!!!!! ☺️

Thanks for the tips!

So, $78,032.00 for the condo, do people make offers? What are the monthly fees? Nice videos and info. Thanks for these videos.
You can contact Alice, her link is in the description. I’m just showing the homes I saw them for the first time that day.
2.76 for a bedsit is pretty steep
Hey Tony, is it possible to buy or rent a small one bedroom Thai-style house in Chiang Mai? The newer houses are ugly imo.
Yes

2 bdrm unit is 138,535.00 U.S.
I wouldn’t call the first a condo, it’s more of a long stay hotel room.
😂
Houses are much better values but u need local partners u can trust and that is a huge obstacle for 90% in Thailand, Vietnam or the Phillipines.

Agreed!!!
The condo I stayed at recently in Chiang Mai had baffles on the unit that directed the outlet air out to open space, not directly onto the balcony.
@@jeff5001 Lucky you!
