This was one of the most satisfying revenge slaughter I’ve seen, everything was built up to this very moment from the first encounter with the church, the deaths of beloved characters and minor characters, to the other worlders coming with the armies, everything has led up to them getting what they do righteously deserves. Tempest has proven to us that monsters can be peaceful, and then these guys attacked them with the intent of genocide. And Rimuru isn’t up for negotiating anymore, they and everyone else are rightfully furious for the deaths of their fallen friends and family who were wrongly killed and we were angry too. @@GODOFAWSOMENESS1 It is actually, “Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.” The Big Stick policy was the foreign policy of the United States under President Theodore Roosevelt. He ordered the Great White Fleet, comprised of 16 Battleships and numerous escort vessels to peacefully circumnavigate the globe, making friendly courtesy visits to countries along the way. It was hardly quiet, but softly and subtly telling the entire World that the United States now had a very Big Stick and that the United States knew how to use it.
Some people: Benimaru so badass. Best husbando. Other people: Souei so cool. Best husbando. Everyone: Wait, Gabiru is actually strong and not just comedic relief?
Honestly, no one in the capital of Rimuru is weak. Gobta may look like a normal Goblin, but he could have also taken out some of the knights on his own and Gabiru obviously could have soloed the entire camp if he wanted to. It is easy to imagine that Tempest might just have the most powerful military on the entire continent.
Considering the strength of his fighter subordinates, how strong are all of the citizens? He named a lot of people, and that should make them pretty strong as well
Well when someone attacks your nation for seemingly no reason, you can’t just sit back and do nothing. Doing something about it will help minimize your civilian casualties, doing nothing will only lead to your side suffering more of them.
Rimuru: You guys don’t get it, there is no case for you come out on top, because if we can’t protect our town you can be damn well sure we’ll AVENGE IT
I love remembering the fact that Rimuru named ever single monster who lived in his village to make it easier to tell people apart, and in doing so he made one of the strongest armies around by evolving each and every one of them to the next level (Or next 10 in some cases)
I was very happy about the quality of animation the battles in this episode had! I was starting to worry about the quality of this season, but this episode brought my hopes up!
I think the appropriate saying here would be 'beware the fury of a kind man'. Rimaru is a good person, that much is obvious from how he treats his subordinates and former enemies, but it also leads to people like the idiots from Falmuth thinking that hes a pushover. I guess they never stopped to wonder why a pushover has Kijin serving under him and the blessing of the Dryads.
Honestly, Falmuth was *lucky* that *this* is the price they had to pay for attacking Tempest. Just imagine what would have happened to them if *MILIM* were there either during the initial attack or if she showed up and saw the carnage and the dead citizens that Falmuth left behind. What Rimuru did for revenge would have been a *mercy* by comparison.
considering we saw her back story ((I'm 100% sure that is millim)) and she destroyed a whole kingdom with no survivors cause they killed her best friend dragon.
@@EeniThesian66 It uh looks like Milim so it was pretty clear imo. Also the OP and Ed "focus" on Shion Milim and Rimuru. Both Rimuru and Shion are obviously very significant rn and since Milim is in there too I can't see it being a coincidence especially with Rimuru gonna be a Demon Lord soon

In case anyone forgot that Benimaru is one of Rimuru’s most powerful subordinates, and is the supreme commander of their military force, right behind Rimuru himself
I feel like this scene is a good representation of their character. In spite of so many of their friends being slaughtered by the human army, they still made the soldier's deaths (mostly) painless, rather than making them suffer. Sometimes the ones that are most human look the least like one.
Something ill never not love and appreciate, is Gabiru and Gobta essentially being comic relief characters, but when they are able to actually show off, it's so much more appealing. Every expects Benimaru, Shion, etc to be strong and do well. But those two just adds another sweet layer ontop.
Benimaru rage transition is really powerful, you can see is anger in his eyes changing from 0:14 and in that moment the knight should have known there was no escape. It made me think of a Doctor Who quote: "Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun when a good man goes to war." The humans made a great mistake angering Rimuru-sama
He's much stronger than people tend to think. He's the strongest out of all of the dragonewts and was capable of defeating any monster living around Veldora's seal all on his own (while the others could do the same when in groups of 4....to give you an idea of how much stronger Gabiru is compared to the other dragonewts). His only real weaknesses are his immaturity and arrogance. But when he's 100% serious about something? Taking him lightly is pretty much suicide.

So seeing these high and mighty people get absolutely destroyed is so satisfying, especially the other worlders.
It’s as the saying goes: ‘Fear the wrath of a gentle man.’ because there will be no mercy from them.
“Speak softly and carry a big stick” - Theodore ‘Teddy’ Rosevelt.
Rimuru's revenge is not only satisfying, it's beautiful and elegant too, I can't wait for the next episode.
Demons run when a good man goes to war...
@@GODOFAWSOMENESS1 I remember that, and I totally agree
@@GODOFAWSOMENESS1 It is actually, “Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.”
The Big Stick policy was the foreign policy of the United States under President Theodore Roosevelt.
Souei: stealth apporach
Benimaru: It's still stealth if the meter doesn't fill up
Gabiru: Stealth approach?
Haha, lol benimaru is playing far cry!
His approach is more like "it is stealthy if everyone dies before alerting and there are no evidences left"
No one will notice the corpses, if there are no corpses.
I missed Benimaru’s dark flames and Souei’s threads, brings back memories of the war against the orcs
I didn't know Gabiru could be that cool, lol
My man Gabiru Ftw
I mean truthfully is just shows the level of humans in this show.
@@timothyalexander7006 pretty low if i say so
Unironically too 😝
Honestly though, his fight in the orc invasion is still the best animated fight in the show so far
Some people: Benimaru so badass. Best husbando.
Other people: Souei so cool. Best husbando.
Everyone: Wait, Gabiru is actually strong and not just comedic relief?
That’s literally this comment section in a nutshell
Honestly, no one in the capital of Rimuru is weak.
Gobta may look like a normal Goblin, but he could have also taken out some of the knights on his own and Gabiru obviously could have soloed the entire camp if he wanted to. It is easy to imagine that Tempest might just have the most powerful military on the entire continent.
Everyone seems to be forgetting he held his own 1v1 against the Orc Lord for a bit
Considering the strength of his fighter subordinates, how strong are all of the citizens? He named a lot of people, and that should make them pretty strong as well
@@dillpickle59 actually, the one Gabiru fought was an Orc General... the general says so himself
still impressive given how strong said General was
Rimuru in Season 1: let's build a happy world in Peace 😁
Rimuru in Season 2: City of falmuth you have failed this world now you shall know Pain 😠
Well when someone attacks your nation for seemingly no reason, you can’t just sit back and do nothing. Doing something about it will help minimize your civilian casualties, doing nothing will only lead to your side suffering more of them.
@@Gamer88334 also Rimuru: "Hey Yolm, can you become the king of Falmuth so that the people don't suffer from our actions?"
Rimuru: You guys don’t get it, there is no case for you come out on top, because if we can’t protect our town you can be damn well sure we’ll AVENGE IT
King: “I have an army”
Benimaru: “We have a Slime”
Someone in Rimurus group: „though can’t we be the pre-vengers?“
@@Asiagirl644 no never do time. She can be quite fragile.
I love remembering the fact that Rimuru named ever single monster who lived in his village to make it easier to tell people apart, and in doing so he made one of the strongest armies around by evolving each and every one of them to the next level (Or next 10 in some cases)
Yeah at this point, he has the 2nd strongest army in the world and later on the number one spot when a certain celebration happens
I was very happy about the quality of animation the battles in this episode had! I was starting to worry about the quality of this season, but this episode brought my hopes up!
The humans crushing tempest once:😎
The humans realizing they only won because of the barrier that weakened them: 😱
Also they was only defending their self because of rimiru no killing human rule.
Not even that, even whit a barrier up I doubt they would have won if not for Rimruru
Gabiru introducing himself finally has some weight behind it
@assassin's howdy!
Ik exactly what you mean son
I love how it is an absolute power-play.
He only told them his name so they could tell the Devil who send them.
Gabiru: Howdy, I'm Gabiru, tell the guy at the gate I sent you.
Or why four primordials will serve him (this is like way later in the story
Can’t choose between which revenge is more satisfying between this and shield hero

Just wait you haven't seen anything yet the real revenge didn't start...
@assassin's hi
Redo of a healer xD
Redo Of Healer Episode 2. Revenge served with a red hot poker garnish
When they said. "Send Benimaru east." I thought they meant with a team. Not Send this man in SOLO!
This man is a TANK!🤣
More like damager
@@purplecat4582 Either that or he meant like the mobile weapon.
Beni do what Beni want 🤣
Benimaru was in their base, killing their dudes.
Biggest understatement of the decade, he's not a tank, he's a full blown panzerfaust!
I don't want to imagine it would be total Carnage.
Error error can not compute but wooping
considering we saw her back story ((I'm 100% sure that is millim)) and she destroyed a whole kingdom with no survivors cause they killed her best friend dragon.
Remember what she did to Carrion's subordinate when he only hit one of Rimuru's subordinates. Falmuth lucky she was not home.
It's basically Rimuru going "I've got good news. You see, there's no need to wonder where your god is. Because he's right here. And he's fresh out of mercy."

Absolutely
I have seen some pretty poor use of CGI, with the only example I can think of as the spider anime

Stuff like this really goes to show how OP those barriers placed around Tempest were...

To harm a treasure or to threaten it is to invite destruction upon all you hold dear and near.

They welcomed humans with kindness only to get attacked and killed. You can't blame them for being mad.

No matter how many times I watch this episode. It always put a smile on my face.

Benimaru taking out his sword is like Zoro tying his headband.
Something ill never not love and appreciate, is Gabiru and Gobta essentially being comic relief characters, but when they are able to actually show off, it's so much more appealing. Every expects Benimaru, Shion, etc to be strong and do well. But those two just adds another sweet layer ontop.

As Homer Simpson once said:

Benimaru rage transition is really powerful, you can see is anger in his eyes changing from 0:14 and in that moment the knight should have known there was no escape.
It made me think of a Doctor Who quote: "Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun when a good man goes to war." The humans made a great mistake angering Rimuru-sama

Dang gabiru doin decent
He's much stronger than people tend to think. He's the strongest out of all of the dragonewts and was capable of defeating any monster living around Veldora's seal all on his own (while the others could do the same when in groups of 4....to give you an idea of how much stronger Gabiru is compared to the other dragonewts). His only real weaknesses are his immaturity and arrogance. But when he's 100% serious about something? Taking him lightly is pretty much suicide.
He’s basically a Raid boss by this worlds standards
