Kyouya experienced a true hell. He was also using though acceleration which effectively slowed down reality for him allowing him to react to the information he was receiving from his "all seeing" eyes. After his beheading he was left conscious as he could feel ever individual drop of blood drain from his skull, he felt the absolute compulsion to breathe he last breathe but his sever head had no lungs to do so. All that he had left was time to think, blink, and flap a useless jaw that could no longer speak. Due to his though acceleration that could not be undone he spent the equivalent of hours slowly dying and completely unable to do anything about it. Good. That f*cker deserved every nanosecond.
Fun fact: in the london tower you can read the tale of a executioner who was so proficient at his job that he could decaptate and pick up the head of the criminal and their eyes would still be moving as they were basically still alive for a split second

The entire episode this scene was from was just pure satisfaction, though I admit that the end moments brought me to tears both because of the sheer magnitude we get to witness (as this is one of the rare times everyone's been allowed to let loose. No need to hold back against monsters) and from what they pushed them to. Demons run when a good man goes to war.
The kid overextends with his attacks, doesn't reconsider when his opponent hits faster than he can see and presents a hilariously wide opening by jumping in a predictable arc so he can't dodge. He was practically asking to get his head chopped off.

30 seconds of estimated IRL remaining time of life after decapitation, multiplied by his power equals how long he is already dead and knows it. so by using some simple math, 30 x 300 = 9000 seconds OR 9000/60= 150 minutes OR 150/60= 2.5 hours. It was said by someone about a powerful geezer in another Anime. So I have no idea where it might be from.
@@animewin401 The original quote is from Kevin Lacz, and it says " Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young."
This made me think of Mortal Kombat 11, where Dark Raiden cut off Shinnok's head.
Fun fact: in the london tower you can read the tale of a executioner who was so proficient at his job that he could decaptate and pick up the head of the criminal and their eyes would still be moving as they were basically still alive for a split second

IMO, these moments were much more satisfying in the Light novels/web novels, as with the second guy, the one Geld fought, got thoroughly crushed to bits. Much more brutal in the books.
@@diddyz7 Mostly because the anime has to fit into a set time so they can't thoroughly explain everything like the novels and stuff

It's what happens when you always face noticeably inferior foes and are a Big Fish in a Small Pond.
Dude probably had ZERO experience in fighting superior enemies. An since he was always so on top and treated so well...he never really cared to develop his own power. He just rested on his own laurels.
But the MOMENT his enemy did something he couldn't see, SHOULD have set off warning bells in his head, but then again this is what happens when one is overly arrogant. They stop caring about facts and just go with their emotions and previous knowledge.
