I like to imagine Seph composed his own theme, and went through every single music genre trying to pick the best one. These are the results of his scrapped ideas.

Though for the 70s Prog Rock one, it'd be funny if it cuts to Nobuo Uematsu listening to some tunes for inspiration as he's crafting this sick final boss theme for the 7th title in the Final Fantasy series. Prog Rock is one of his favorite genres judging by how often it shows in a number of his works.
Sephiroth had a lot going on his mind when we wanted to bring the world despair.

He was in despair over this pair of this pear that got a diss and a pare.
I loved Funk, Tango, and Salsa honestly. Salsa especially for some reason. Traditional Japanese was also a lot of fun to listen to with this.

Man, I loved the Tango to Salsa to Breakbeat, all 3 were so good! Admittedly I wish breakbeat got a bit more time to shine. Honerable mention to Reggae and 60s ska, those worked quite well back to back.
I hope there’s more edits transforming infamous songs into different genres that you get to drum to, that would be awesome
