Mars can throw its turret made for distractions. Curie releases its turrets in front of it and can be used if you're close to an opponent made for backup shooting if you don't want to combat and the Curie have additional armor plates around it for better protection. With both robots having turrets, you have an option to combat with your turrets.
Curie will be used as shield overlap Ares as it will bring up the temporary HP for the for the ability back in the day we use 2 Ares to make up for the ability cool down
Mars as usual like some other old robots who didn't deserve such degrades has a special place in my heart. I remember getting it from the special delivery (where you'd have to pick among three cards) and I made the right choice. It was strong back then as I ran it in Diamond League. I'm back after a year am I'm surprised that it's way weaker, only to realise that it got nerfed. I understand that it was OP in lower leagues for slower robots but it deserved to stay strong in higher leagues as it's compatibility as a T4 robot. Some T4 robots' old nerfs make no sense anymore, such as Ares and Ao Jun. They must return such robots to their prime so they can be stronger, not to mention it still wouldn't be enough for them to catch up to the metas. All they do is bring out Ultimate versions instead of actually buffing the robots which require a raise(example: Ares, Ao Jun, Ao Ming).
Man it’s really sad that mars got nerfed in every part of the robot I wouldn’t care if curie could throw the turret but only because the mars can throw turret I choose mars and want pixi to revert the consecutive nerfs
@thenthtinkerer7635 i leveled my leech pretty good, i just find it to be SOOO weak outside of its ability... i prefer more survivability. my leveled weapons are of much less use if they're not even IN the match, imo. I'm not a tip-toer Whatsoever, like to scrap with brute force.
Would of been a little closer before the Mars turret was nerfed into oblivion. It still wouldn't of beaten Curie's two turrets though. Can't ever have an old bot better than a new one! On a side note: Eiffel is terrible with Gargantua/Pantagruel. Lol.
i feel like curie is balanced because first of all pixonic gave it away and knowing them they will never giveaway OP meta stuff, i dont think he will receive many nerfs like mars because mars is just the most annoying robot by just sending a turret and go back to cover (im happy they killed the robot) anyway just nerf curie turret and put his ability cooldown to 10s and thats all
I hope they unnerf only Mars' turret DPS. Thanks to the Leech buff (which ironically came at the same time as the Mars nerf rather than before, talk about deliberate terrible timing from Pixonic) and Stake Lynxes being given out (also after the Mars nerf, such timing!) I don't think it would be problematic. Then again, even when I had no Mars myself and was being destroyed by it in low leagues, I could tell the opponents where excessive spenders and tankers having it at Mk2 or 3.

The problem with the guns isn’t the rust. It’s the base DPS alone, as is the same problem with the medium, light, and DOT counterparts. Basically a viper but with higher long range accuracy and triple the damage per shot. Rust gun means that recuperation is slower and DOT is almost entirely DOT and thus tears through any form of defense with about 150% of the power on the aforementioned rust guns. But that’s kinda the whole point. They design every new thing to be a “buy to beat” predicament on purpose. Why they brought out the Zeus snipers with already powerful damage output and slapped a 400% damage multiplier against titans, when defense mitigation already gives every Titan weapon an edge over other titans. Not to mention slapping it on a robot that can lift you out of cover and one-shot you and then paired it with a pilot that gives you suppression if you somehow get close enough to even get a couple shots in. Welcome to WR. Outsmart ‘em or outbuy ‘em, skill was thrown out of the script a long time ago.
