bought this after much debate at tannens magic, and since then I've had so much fun with it
I'm really surprised guessing a number 1 to 6 in a spectators hand would play so well. they love it
I was actually today at tannes and I’m thinking of buy it, I’m between this and the ones that comes with 3 but I think the other one besides being more expensive is too much for my type of magic, i feel that more than one dice could be an overkill for the audience and doing a single trick combining the 3 at the same time could feel like a math trick or something like that ! Any thoughts or recommendations ?!
Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but when a magician does a card trick, you rarely see a spectator say, "okay, let's see you do it with MY deck", i.e. lay people don't suspect gaffed cards, duplicates, etc... but a die is such an unusual magic prop and with only a 1 out of 6 chance of guessing it right, I can see a spectator saying, "let's see you do it with one of my dice from a board game" etc....

hi, I bought the mental dice set of 3 dice and single dice, I can't connect the set of 3 dice to the vibration receiver? is it a problem with the receiver or am I doing something wrong? thanks!!

Great Review!! I am looking to buy this device for a new original act, HOWEVER ...
There is one aspect about the device that I am trying to get information about. Is there a delay in the notification? In other words, does the die need to be in a rested stated, for a small period of time, before it sends the notification? (I'm not giving anything away because of the plethora of ads on the Internet).
I have a new original act that I am developing and I need the notification to be sent AS the die is moving around. I have looked all around the internet and even send chat messages and emails to a few people to get a straight answer. I've gotten no response yet.

I have had the Promystic die for many years and love it. But they are A GRAND!
With this die, how many repeat thumps do you get?

None at all. It has three intensity settings.

I'd say you couldn't do it in a silent room (unless you said you were going into the next room while they rolled to make it extra fair) but with normal background noise you'll be fine.

lots of people complaining about these technology tricks don't work or break. They are not reliable and eventually stop working. Not worth the risk
buy the tricks that work for YOU
"Priced for the professional" Is often frown about. There are a lot of hobbiests though, it rubs me the wrong way. A lot of teens take magic seriously and when a price is artifically inflated on some effects and props it can really make you reconcider the hobby. Yes there is value in saveing up but with even the cheapest tricks some people will not respect the secret. At what point is it greed masquerading as protecting the secret? (And yes the production cost also has to be concidered, as well as shipping heavy gimmicks and tricks) End of the day though is the product worth the price for you? And can you justify buying it?
there are plenty of affordable tricks out there - plenty of magic at all price points for everyone
