Is it possible to just book my accommodation for 1-2 weeks in Poland in a hostel? I am applying for a student visa long term and renting apartments requires a lot of fees when just booking and can only send back the deposits if visa is rejected. So, I was thinking to rent for some hostels and look for an apartment once I am already there. Will it be possible or is it too risky? Can't I just explain it? Also, who knows about the system of Poland student visa. Thank you.
Girl don't downplay the foreigner disadvantage... I've been here for 6 weeks and I still don't have a place stay because I'm not just a foreigner, I'm also black. No one wants to rent to me even though I have a job and actually afford. And I am in Warsaw, I imagine this is worse in Lublin.
You just talk yourself into that, I'm telling you from the bottom of my heart, literally no one give a fuck what color your skin is, you're in central europe not in the 3rd world country where ppl never saw a foreigner. It might be a case if you live in some deep rural village, not in the Warsaw my friend. Best of luck.
@@przemek4531 Then why would they be asking my nationality and then not returning texts, calls emails? I've tried everything and they can't even give me a viewing. I don't walk around telling myself the world hates me but I do know and notice when people are not comfortable with something. I'm not even judging because I understand if they no comfortable having a black person as a tenant. I'm from South Africa, where most people are not comfortable having Nigerians and Zimbabweans as tenants. It happens everywhere.
Hey love. Thank you for your response however, I wouldn’t call it a downplay as on my channel I share mostly from MY OWN EXPERIENCES and that is the extent to which I experienced it. I’m so sorry you have experienced worse Thank you for sharing your experience and good luck in your search 💕💕
