Custom mode doesn't allow for banking up or down so you're stuck with four foot switches
Elemental + Mini Universe is the new meta for cheap worship boards.
It sounds surprisingly well. I normally hate the sound of most cheap reverb and delay pedals but not those. Just got this one and the Mini Universe.

@@LucasGoncalvesMI keep seeing this term used in reference to guitar pedals, could you explain what that means? I know what worship means, I just don’t understand what it has to do with guitar or music in general. When I worship music especially the electric guitar is the last thing I’d want. Is this a Protestant thing or something?

This has some nice effects. Some real weird ones too 😄 It may be a nice addition to my board. I enjoy creating ambient and atmospheric tracks. Have to study it a little longer before i spring for it. Great review, as always.
Thanks a lot Paul! Of course I kept the Mix and Feedback pretty high so you could get better the texture that it can achieve, but you can get more tamed versions of those tones by adjusting the delay parameters in a more traditional range! 🎛️🔥

I own m-vave dig reverb and m-vave mini amp on my pedalboard, the mini amp switch is soft but dig reverb is kind of disturbing cause the switch hv a pop voice when it getting activated in another review i saw mini universe switch is kinda same like dig reverb. Is this pedal switch is better than m-vave dig reverb/mini universe? Cause i always use delay when it comes to interlude and it might get annoying
Totally soft and without pop! As it has tap tempo, they needed to invest in a better quality one! 🎛️🔥

It works as an audio interface using the USB-C Plug, even for the mobile phone! If it is what you mean, it works great! 🎛️🔥

I’d say it is given it’s a strymoon in an mvave box
Just got one of these the other day. Unfortunately it introduces a lot of noise into the signal chain. It has some cool sounds but the noise that it brings into the signal ruins the sound especially when you run OD through a pedal or the gain channel on the amp. The noise is there even when the pedal is inactivated. I worried about this when ordering the pedal which was justified.
Hey mate, are you using an Isolated power supply? If not, it can be a problem. Also guarantee that you are feeding with 300mA mininum. My unit is deadly silent... I didn't apply any post processing on the track of the sound check! Cheers! 🎛️🔥
@@RiffsRigs the problem is that I run a lot of pedals off of one power supply but none of my other pedals introduce noise into my signal and adding another power supply to run one specific pedal isn't what I want to do. That just means more items/problems/$$$ to introduce into my rig. No it isn't isolated but it puts out 450mA total which is plenty because I rarely use more than 2-3 pedals at a time.
Does the hold feature works on all algorithms? Can it act as a freeze like the ehx freeze pedal?
It holds on all modes! And it is exactly a freeze function! 🎛️🔥
I already got the pedal, it is not as intuitive as the ehx freeze pedal. It will freeze yes but it cannot be triggered momentarily as it will enable the tap tempo function.
Is there any popping sound with that pedal?
Not at all! Soft footswitch even!

does it have the same grounding issues like the other pedals? Like you cant use them with non-isolated power supply bc it bleeds like crazy?
No no! M-VAVE learnt from their previous issues with the Mini U. Sounded silent and no high pitch whinning... at least in my equipment specifically.

It adds a LOT of noise to my non-insulated PS signal chain. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a big money PS with all the bells and whistles.
@@larrysdinner oh okay, thats good to know. I have the mini universe and the mini-fx ones which are practically unusable.. pity, their analogue stuff is actually pretty perfect but im quite disappointed with most of the digital stuff...
@@AndrewDeer1 yeah, it's a shame because it's a pretty cool pedal but defeats the purpose of being inexpensive if it requires an expensive power supply to operate it on a gigging pedal board.

Can you do dotted 8 with this pedal?
Yes you can! There is an specific patern for it on the PATERN mode, but even on the other modes you can beat the tempo on the 4/3 to get it done! 🎛️🔥
unfortunately, it is mono, so how to use it after my stereo delay?
There is no way mate... if you will join it back with a ABY box or TRS cable, you will kill the Stereo effect before it. A solution would be to have two of it, which is not practical in my opinion... unfortunately 🎛️🔥
